Nori-san and Eri-san are exceptional hosts who made our stay on Zamami Island genuinely memorable. From the moment we arrived, everything was handled with care, they met us at the ferry port and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay.

Each morning, we were provided with fresh towels and bottled water, and breakfast was a highlight in itself because it was varied, thoughtfully prepared, and different every day. We especially appreciated that they asked about allergies on arrival, which made us feel well looked after. Dinner was equally impressive, and the chicken wings were easily some of the best we’ve had.

What truly set this stay apart was their kindness and flexibility. Just before check-out, Nori-san kindly lent us snorkeling gear so we could head out for one last swim and we were lucky enough to see turtles!!! It was an unforgettable experience and the perfect way to end our time on the island.

We only wish we spoke better Japanese so we could properly express our gratitude. Thank you again, Nori-san and Eri-san, I hope to visit again soon!

We stayed at 38 Miyahira during our visit to Zamami Island. The location is perfect — just across the street from Ama Beach. The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely terrace to relax on after a day of exploring.
Nori-san and Eri-san are incredibly kind and welcoming hosts. Nori-san picked us up at the port, lent us snorkeling gear for free, and served us a delicious homemade breakfast. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short due to bad weather and boat cancellation concerns, and Nori-san kindly refunded us for the unused night without us even asking — that really says everything about the kind of hosts they are.
We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zamami!

The property is in an incredible location. You could leave your room and be swimming with turtles on Ama beach within 45 seconds!

Just steps from one of the most beautiful turtle-filled beaches, this place is a true gem. The rooms are spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully maintained, and the owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. The food is absolutely fantastic, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our baby—both in the room setup and with special meals. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

阿真ビーチまで歩いて1分の場所にあり、泊港からも徒歩での移動も可能とアクセス抜群でした。部屋はこぢんまりとしていますが、とても清潔でバス、トイレ付き、バルコニー付き、部屋用スリッパ、ビーチ用のサンダルもありとても快適でした。2階の広いテラスからは星空も見えました。
何よりオーナー夫妻の人柄に惹かれました。1階のダイニングでは元銀座でシェフをされていたご主人が腕を振るってくれました。朝食は1日目洋食、2日目和食と嗜好を変え、どれもとても美味しかったです。
立地、部屋、オーナー夫妻のお心遣い、どれも最高で次回は家族で訪れたいと思います。

The experience on Zamami and at your hotel has been a beautiful and unforgettable one that we will look back on and cherish in the future. Home-cooked meals from a master chef and the above-and-beyond service from his wife. One of those places that really just make you feel welcome.

Moderne, schöne, sehr saubere Unterkunft mit großen gemütlichen Betten, leise Klimaanlage, gutem Frühstück mit wundervoll duftendem Kaffee inklusive und sehr netten Gastgebern. Wir konnten auch dort sehr gut zu Abend essen und die Japanische Küche kennenlernen. Auch die Lage gleich (2Minuten )am kleinen Strand (leider ohne Schirme aber bewacht) war sehr gut für das Schwimmen im Meer vor dem Frühstück oder Nachmittags. Der Bus zum größeren Strand Furuzamami fuhr auch gleich 2 Minuten entfernt ab. Für uns war alles perfekt!!!

The hosts were so kind; they picked us up from the ferry terminal and took us back when our trip ended.

The room was air-conditioned and comfortable, and beach towels were also provided. The beach is very short walk away and we loved being able to stroll along the beach at sunset before their restaurant opened.

We had dinner both nights at their restaurant, and it was all excellent and so reasonably priced. The sashimi and tempura were some of our favorites! And the breakfasts both mornings were so so good - one morning we had more of a western style and the second morning we had a Japanese style.

You can tell they put so much care into their guesthouse, and we felt so special being only 1 of two couples staying over our trip. Don't hesitate to stay, you won't be disappointed!

Location was amazing. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Food was fresh and delicious. Owners were kind, caring and went the extra mile (even saving us from some heavy rain while out on a walk)! Very relaxing time had by my family, our 3yo loved the turtles and beach

The hosts are extremely kind and friendly. As there are only two guest rooms, it feels a bit like you are privately hosted by friends in the best possible way. The rooms are large and clean, beds are comfortable and the food is amazingly delicious. The beach is only a 1min walk away, the ferry port about 20mins, but the owner kindly picked us up and even delivered our luggage back to the ferry.

Great experience overall!
