On s’attendait à mieux …
Pros:

L’hôtel est bien situé
La chambre est très spacieuse

Cons:

Le ménage n’a pas été fait pendant 2 jours (donc pas de changement de serviette), on a dû réclamer que quelqu’un vienne au moins changer les serviettes de bain
Petit déjeuner plus que limite, pas assez de choix surtout pour les enfants
L’hôtel mériterait un peu plus d’entretien surtout à l’extérieur

Hôtel confortable pour quelques jours
Pros:

Le confort de la chambre (grande avec baie vitrée, canapé, plusieurs de courant un peu partout).
La gentillesse du personnel.

Cons:

La possibilité d'utilisation du jardin aurait été un plus (avec des chaises longues, même si la piscine était fermée).

Good overall but the bathroom was an accident waiting to happen

Booking in was easy and polite

Cons:

The bathroom was like a death trap. Floor was shiny black tiles ( I cannot believe they were designed to be used in a bathroom) that i slipped on the minute i entered the bathroom. The shower is inside a Bath, the bath had a curves bottom which sent my wife sidewards resulting in a nasty fall when trying to shower. My wife is younger than 30 and is physically fit - the only safe way to shower on such slippy surfaces was to kneel in the bath and climb out of the bath very slowly and carefully. Then leave the bathroom to dry or face slipping on the tiled floor.

Bon hôtel à Chiang Rai
Pros:

L’accueil très souriant et la gentillesse du personnel.
La grande chambre fonctionnelle et propre, même si on sent qu’elle se défraîchit un peu.
Le petit déjeuner très complet (2 toasts, beurre, confiture, 2 œufs au plat, saucisses, jambon, bacon, ananas et fruit du dragon, et soupe) mais peut-être qu’il serait préférable de prendre les commandes préalablement auprès des clients, car tous les plats sont amenés sur la table et c’est quasi impossible de tout manger, donc il reste forcément de la nourriture.
Emplacement à 600 m de la rue principale et du marché du samedi soir, donc tout à fait correct

Cons:

L’hôtel donne l’impression d’un certain manque d’entretien, notamment la piscine qui ne donne vraiment pas envie de se baigner, malgré un potentiel certain.
L’insonorisation des chambres très moyenne, notamment vers l’extérieur, mais la nuit, il y a peu de trafic sur la route
Le rapport qualité prix paraît plutôt mauvais par rapport à d’autres hôtels de Chiang Rai.

The bed was comfortable. We loved the hot water in the sink

Pros:

The bed was comfortable but the pillows were hard. Everything was white. And some items in our room were quite marked Location was quite good

Cons:

The breakfast wasn't very good for Europeans. The staff were pleasant enough but not exactly hard working. No one greeted us when we arrived and the hotel, bizarrely, has no ramp up to the door. We had to hsul our heavy cases up steps! The pool was really dirty and all the outside areas needed attention

Great potential
Pros:

Perfect location with car parking provided. Good breakfast in the morning (they even provide Nutella, peanut butter, and yogurt, not common in Thailand! Much appreciated!!!). Comfortable bed, big rooms, and a wide balcony.

Cons:

During the night the water was not warm enough to enjoy a bath or a relaxing shower. I suggest to improve the quality of water heaters. The room colours were honestly awful, not sure why the owner picked up colourful tones rather than keeping it simple. It gave us the feeling of a baby's room.
