The room was clean, the bathroom too, we had hot water and the bed was super comfortable. They are offering room cleaning also, scooter renting and so on.

Even tho I am overall really satisfied with the accommodation, the one thing I have to mention for other guests is that room number 1 is sharing the wall with the kitchen (common space) and the doors of the room are not stopping ANY noise, so when you combine the doors that are really light + kitchen situation you get a really bad sleep or waking up in the morning when anybody from the whole hotel wants to go to the kitchen (and it has been, of course, a common thing that people are hanging out in the kitchen regardless of the hour of the day.)
I read a review like this but it was only one before we have booked this place so I thought okay it's not that legit people are complaining about whatever now days - but it is true.

For the record we came in January and it was not that packed with people but we still had been affected by the noise but if you put earplugs it does help.
Therefore if you're planning on booking this when it's a higher demand (more popular tourist season) be aware that if you're assigned this room number 1 next to the kitchen that could be a big problem for you.

But the host was really nice, the bed and all of the other things I only have nice things to say, but I'm just gonna put it here in case it helps somebody make a decision :)

I had an amazing stay at Surfhouse Bali 007! The staff is super friendly, and the accommodation and facilities are clean and well-maintained.

This was my first time in Bali, but thanks to their tips and recommendation folder, I knew exactly where to go for groceries, a good lunch, and all the best beaches.

The location is a bit away from the busy areas, which I actually loved. Everything you need is nearby, and with a scooter, you can easily get anywhere you want to go.

Fun and comfortable
Pros:

Finding our way to the pool was tricky but once you know, it’s easy. We met and made friends during our stay! And we even got to rent our first mopeds of our trip here. The workers were helpful and friendly, they were informative about where to do and how to do things. Our room was clean, BIG, and super comfortable

away from the bustle side of Ulu, this hostel was PERFECT!! all the beaches on this side are absolutely STUNNING and very clean! it only cost between 12-20k to get a grab to the central side so was never an issue and we always enjoyed the scenic routes :)

the staff are amazing! our stay wouldn’t have been so special with the amazing Yana, thankyou so much! we ended up extending an extra 3 nights and it was no issue at all

definitely recommend if you’re looking for somewhere chill to stay that has good access to more lowkey beaches
