Very good
Pros:

Beach is just 10 seconds away! I had two dogs with me and it was exactly what I wanted for long beach walks.
The area is quietly, which is just what I wanted. The lady of the house is very genial and will try to satisfy your needs! She has renovated part of her traditional house into a small apartment. Old & new come together!

Cons:

Google maps did not have the house correctly on their system! When you get to the bus stop ( Google stops there) you carry on past the "fish for sale" kiosk, then next right & down to the end!
It is an old type Latvian residence, so don't expect hotel quality! I knew what to expect when I went there!

Only as a last resort.
Pros:

Location was very close to the beach.

Cons:

The smell: bathroom like day-old soup, bedding like it was stored in a humid basement. There was no shower, which I learned only after I booked it. The building was very old and just covered whatever was underneath with layers of wallpaper and linoleum.
