Pros:

The couple who owned it were so cute and friendly and the facilities were pristine!

Cons:

It was a little hard to find at night when I came but the instructions helped!

Overall one my favourite stays in Japan, just because the owners were such lovely people
Pros:

The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. The modern facility is beautiful and clean, and is great place to stay if you are travelling by bike. This is in a small quiet seaside village , which was a welcome change from the cities.

Cons:

Kitchen facilities for guests are limited. A hot plate for cooking would be a nice addition.

Tolle Gastgeber, schönes Haus
Pros:

Die Schlaf“boxen“ sind sehr groß, sodass man echt viel Platz hat. Das Haus ist ganz neu und chick, durch den Gemeinschaftsraum und die Terrasse konnte ich gut mit den anderen Gästen interagieren.

Cons:

Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist es wohl etwas schwieriger zu erreichen

Exceptional
Pros:

Utmost welcoming hosts. It felt more like a homestay that a hostel. Also in terms of cleanliness it was exceptional.
I have been to many different types of accommodation during the past two years in Japan where the standard of cleanliness is already very high but this place can keep it up with any five star hotel!
I am looking forward to returning in the future! It was perfect!

Excellent stay, great location, amazing staff
Pros:

The capsule-style rooms have adjustable lighting, ventilation and plenty of power outlets, plus they are very spacious. The bathrooms are very clean (though this is also contingent on how many guests there are). The staff are very friendly and full of recommendations for places to eat and things to do around the area. Bonus points if you are a biker -- there is a whole workshop and garage to maintain your ride. Location is great, just five minutes or so from Amakusa city.

Cons:

The structure of the room layout means that mornings are extremely noisy with guests packing up and checking out -- bring earplugs. This also helps with the mosquitoes (they don't bite, at least in my experience, but there are a lot of them and the buzzing in your ears will wake you up).
