Simple and good location
Pros:

Location was really good - close to pier, good restaurants, supermarkets. Room itself was comfortable and felt safe. Staff was nice.

Cons:

Bathroom flooded after every shower use, toilet seat was broken.

Pros:

Location was accessible to snorkling tours near the jetty.
Within walking distance to food places.

Cons:

1) Bagworms crawling on pillows/wall and dead mosquitoes left on the wall along with cobwebs.
2) Floor was dusty and had to keep our shoes on.
3) Toilet was clogged and took time for water to drain, clothes bar was rusty.

OK for a night, but there are better options in Semporna!
Pros:

Centrally located in the harbour area, comfortable bed and clean room. OK for one night.

Cons:

In my 2.5 weeks in Borneo and 5 hotels/homestays, this one was sadly the worst one. Staff seemed very uninterested to communicate about anything, from check-in information to check-out. They were either asleep on the desk or talking/playing on their phones.
It would also be nice to have a sign that indicates how to enter and where the reception is. Staff did not pick up the phone when I called them, and some kind street kids eventually showed me the hidden door latch of the main entrance.
This was also the only place during my time in Borneo, which had only small single-use plastic water bottles, instead of a refill station with filtered water. :(

Bad experience.
Pros:

Near by to everything.. Convinient stor restaurant & bar, Waterfront in walking distance

Cons:

The room smell Very bad coming from airconditioner.. Water heater is not working. I combat sleep for the whole night because of the smell.
Power socket is Very far from table..

Wonderful and pleasant.
Pros:

Clean quiet close to jetty and sea front restaurants, convenience store, supermarket & ATM machine. Also many tour companies to book your tour package to surrounding island for diving & snorkeling. Sheets are clean. Staff are friendly and obliging.

Cons:

Love the place but wish the operator can provide bucket/pail to wash our seawater soaked clothes and more drying racks inside the room as well as on the balcony. Maybe a ceiling or standing fan shud be available.

Ok but need to warn your staff to respect guest at night. Maybe guest at other hotels feel the same.
Pros:

Strategic location nearby the jetty. Clean

Cons:

The staff, making noise loughing loud in middle of the night. Guest need sleep. Staff hangout outside corridor and making loud sound talking to each other.
Door lock not too safety.
