Quiet and comfortable

The location was good for me as my daughter was in Basingstoke hospital and it wasn't far yo walk

Lovely place to stay. Value for money guaranteed.
Pros:

First off, it was very easy to locate and checking in was smooth, even had a cup of tea. The property was clean, well lit and serene. The staff was welcoming and ready to always assist. It felt like a second home. The room was spacious and neat, very comfortable bed and security in and out of the property was excellent.

Quite location and close to City Centre
Pros:

Quiet place not far from City Centre and the accommodation has a private bathroom right outside the room.

Cons:

The central heating wasn’t working, so I contacted the staff and they gave me a standalone electric heater. Sleeping with it was tough though — it got way too hot during the night, so I had to wake up and switch it off. A few hours later the room would get freezing, which meant I kept waking up over and over and didn’t get a proper night’s sleep.

On top of that, the hot water system wasn’t working at first, but I called the staff and they managed to fix it.

Another issue was the key. The manual key didn’t work, so I had to leave my room unlocked. That meant carrying all my belongings with me all the time, which wasn’t very comfortable.

Locality to hospital for my eye operation and parking nearby

Cons:

3rd floor location, never mentioned as stairs were difficult for us. Disgusting dirty man's vest left on window sill. Dirty plastic cover on kitchen table: could not eat our meals on it. Poor lighting on stairwell. TV not working and not fixed when requested help. Bathroom not luxurious as mentioned, poor water pressure. Noise of traffic in morning was horrendous as opposite main access road to estate. Backyard was an utter mess and only fit for the smokers who used it. Have photos but your website will not accept format.

Pros:

It was very clean, and everything I needed was provided by the host.
It was very close to the hospital, a 10 minute walk, which was very convenient for me.
The price was significantly lower compared to other accommodations, especially those with private toilets and bathrooms.

Cons:

There was a squeeky sound when climbing stairs, but it was negligible compared to benefits.
