Pros:

The location was perfect for us. We biked from Imabari to Onomichi and the hotel was right next to the bike rental station and close to the railway station. Staff was helpful and helped us to ship our luggage to our next destination.

Great location and decent value.
Pros:

Location for the start of the Shimanami-Kaido cycle is excellent, just 10 minutes from the station walking and 5 minutes to the main cycle rental shop, from which the short ferry to the closest island is 100 metres away.

Cons:

The rooms are tiny, the breakfast not great.

Shimanami Kaido Go!
Pros:

Right across from the start (or end) of the Shimanami Kaido. The bike rental is just across the street and the Onomichi train station is a 5 min walk away. Smaller room but good enough for my wife and I for 3 nights. Even if you're not doing the Shimanami Kaido, Onomichi is such a treat of a town. Definitely go up the ropeway to the top of the mountain. Gorgeous scenery! My wife and I would stay here again, great location!

Ok for an overnight stay.
Pros:

Its location is close to the bike hire terminal & a few minutes walk to the JR station. The tv in the room was very large and was the best part of the room.

Cons:

The room was very small and bed was hard. No tea or coffee provided in the room. Barely room for more than 1 bag. One staff member was not very pleasant but another was nice. The price was very high for the amenities.
