Overall this was a good way to start our cycle adventure and the location couldn't have been better.
Pros:

The breakfast was tasty and a great way to start the day cycling the Shimanami cycle route. The bike hire is a mere two to three minutes away opposite the hotel. The front of house staff were very helpful and for a reasonable charge arranged our bigger bags to be sent on to our final destination of Imabari.

Cons:

The room was a little small for three beds, otherwise no complaints.
