The stay was overall very nice, the view was beautiful and it was very quiet.
Pros:

The house was overall very nice. Right size, clean and everything needed was present. The contact with the owner was quick.

Cons:

The restrictions in regards of cooking was way to high. Cooking always causes some smell, you can't avoid that.

I would definitely stay here again and recommend to any family travellers in Otsu
Pros:

It was a great mix of traditional and contemporary Japanese styling.
The tatami rooms were beautiful, and the kitchen and laundry and lounge area were welcomed and the wifi was lightning fast.
There was nothing we needed that wasn’t catered for.

Cons:

The stairs could be a challenge for some people but we’re ok. It was a bit cold on the hallways getting from the bedroom to the dining room/ lounge area but nothing crazy.
