More than lives up to the wonderful reviews
Pros:

Perfect location to explore beautiful Aomori above the train station and a new mini mall (Starbucks, Muji, a few restaurants etc). Rooms compact but very well designed and though out. Wonderful, spotlessly clean onsen. Delightful staff who were lovely, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Very child friendly hotel and terrific with my three year old.

Excellent hotel with in-house medical spa and onsen facilities in Aomori
Pros:

This is an excellent hotel with an in-house medical spa and onsen facilities. The hotel is connected to the Aomori Train Station as well as a shopping mall. Many shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

Cons:

The hotel does not have its own car park. However, guests can park at an affiliated parking garage which is accessible through the connecting shopping mall during mall opening hours. Outside of the mall opening hours, access is only available from the street. Parking fees are charged at a discounted rate for hotel guests on a per entry basis and not on a daily rate basis which allows multiple entries. This means guests need to validate their parking ticket at the Front Desk before taking their car out of the car park in order to get the discounted rate. A new parking ticket is issued upon re-entry.
