Pros:

The rate was what I was looking for on a budget. The room was ok and for the night was acceptable.

Cons:

Parking spaces were too little. Had a difficult time leaving this morning with a Huge GMC 2500 NOT PARKED fully behind me!

Disappointed in lack of basic cleanliness
Pros:

Breakfast was fair, location in the motel good

Cons:

The room, especially the floors were dirty (turned white socks black) and the bath fixtures were worn and dingy. We opted to skip showering.

Cons:

The room had an unpleasant odor, there was holes located on the bathroom door, the bathtub should be replaced every time we took a shower pieces of the tub were chipping off , television would just turn off randomly. Refrigerator was unstable,also the room had a cracked mirror . Parking lot looked like a hangout spot at nights, there were huge roaches located on the outside of the property.

DANGEROUS LOCATION DO NOT BOOK
Pros:

The rooms were updated. I couldn’t say much beyond that as we left early (first time I’ve ever had to do that). The front desk clerk was nice.

Cons:

Not a safe location! Apparently Orangeburg has the highest violent crime rates in South Carolina. This hotel doesn’t have a pool open as advertised but that’s honestly not the worst of it. The adjacent hotel next door (outside entrances) had people doing drug deals in the open, some individuals made comments about our car making it obvious that they weren’t planning anything good. My husband is 6’3” and on the thicker side, his size is typically intimidating but these guys didn’t care. They also made passing comments about our daughters. My husband isn’t easily rattled but he wanted us out ASAP, thankfully we did get a refund.
