Pros:

Very nice location, calm, peaceful, big gardens. The restaurant manager was very friendly and helpful. Although the rest of the staff did nor speak Enhligh, they tried to be helpful.

Cons:

The place looks quite old, and needs a lot of maintenance and repair. There are many damaged things both inside the room and outside in the surroundings. The staff alsmot did not speak any English, except for 1 guy in the restaurant who was very helpful.
The bathroom had many damaged things. The door did not have a handle, the balcony door did not open, I was missing the nightstands.

Pros:

We're thoroughly impressed with this place—it surpasses all my expectations. The location is superb, peaceful atmosphere, friendly staffs. My entire experience here has been delightful, and I'll certainly return next time I find myself in Hanoi.

Really relax at resort. Peaceful and large. Onsen was excellent, staffs were helpful but not much speak english. The Vietnamese set menu were good.

Great onsen resort
Pros:

We love and really were relax at Shiki Onsen pools with helpful staffs. There is also big outside swimming pool and nice view beside many greens. We enjoyed 3 meals there with delicious local foods. We will come back soonest for the longer staying.

We should stayed longer with 2 nights

The spa was nice

Cons:

It wasn't up to western standards. The spa was good for "daily use" for someone living in Hanoi who wants a daily trip to get out of the city. The accommodation wasn't bad but definitely not worth the price. Breakfast was only until 9:30 and at 9:00 they started to put everything away. The place is trying to attract western guests but at the moment the standard corresponds to Vietnamese clientele. It does not correspond to a 4* in neither service (although the staff is nice and making an effort) nor the premises. Would not recommend for tourists who are only visiting Vietnam

Pros:

The pool area was nice. The staff at the front desk and manager of the restaurant were very friendly and they tried their best to make our stay comfortable. They spoke basic English, but we did not have problems communicating with them.

Cons:

The hotel and the hotel services did not meet our expectations. The hotel does not comply with 4* international hotel criteria. The hotel is focusing on Vietnamese domestic tourists with children, which means it is not suitable for Western short-term tourists because of poor quality of services, noise in the relaxation zone, and in the dining room. If you are an expat iving in Hanoi, one night is o.k. for you. The quality of services and food is Vietnamese standard. The staff does not speak any languages. The pool staff was unfriendly. There are pool bars without staff. We were happy to order Vietnamese beers. As genius booking.com client, they did not have a clue about the possibility of upgrading me to a higher standard of the room.
