Déjeuner très très ordinaire tapis sale dans la chambre et vieux savon qui traîné dans la douche
Sicuramente in alta stagione ha il suo fascino. Si affaccia direttamente sulla spiaggia ed ha un ristorante (non ho potuto testarlo perché era tutto chiuso essendo bassa stagione).
Difficoltà a comunicare con il titolare via telefono. Ha cercato di aumentare il prezzo prenotato su Booking, ma alla fine della discussione telefonica ha accettato il prezzo di Booking. L’hotel, essendo bassa stagione, era palesemente chiuso ed è stato “aperto” solo per darci la stanza. Avrei preferito saperlo prima.
Very nice comfortable place to stay in Tangalle.
The location right on the beach. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The food was excellent. This is a very nice place let down by feeling not finished off.
Nowhere to store or hang clothes in the room. Cold water only in the bathroom. Weak wifi that did not reach the room. Unusually low beds, that are large and stylish but at futon height, so rather challenging to get up from.

Carpet in room!! Stained carpet. No fridge in room. Bed on the floor. Tired and dated. Weak WiFi. Omelette for breakfast with bread and margarine. Breakfast dishes left for an hour on table. No atmosphere. Can’t swim by the hotel. Overpriced.

After six days at the hotel, we set off on the next leg of our journey, planning to stay for another six days near Unawatuna. However, as soon as we arrived and checked into our new accommodation, we immediately knew it wasn’t what we had hoped for.
So, on the very same day, we rebooked the Resort Eleven in Tangalle and were back there the next day. The hotel staff greeted us warmly, and we once again felt like we were in paradise. We were given a wonderful apartment on the top floor with a spacious terrace and breathtaking views of the ocean and palm trees.
This place has a magical atmosphere, stunning views, an amazing beach, clean and well-maintained rooms, incredibly friendly staff, and of course, Rocky the dog, who made our stay even more enjoyable – because we love all dogs!
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the staff members who were incredibly helpful and made our stay truly special.

The hotel located right by the ocean is a true paradise for the eyes – the view from the room and the huge terrace is simply breathtaking! The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the bed is exceptionally comfortable, providing a perfect rest. The breakfasts are delicious and varied, ideal for starting a day full of experiences. The hotel staff is very friendly and always ready to help, making us feel at home. And Rocki, the little puppy, stole our hearts – a wonderful, cheerful companion! We will miss this place, and if we get the chance, we will definitely come back!
The staff were super friendly and tried to make us happy and they compromised on the price we ended up paying. Breakfast was super yummy!
the photos and what is in the room just don’t match up - no air con, no bath, no coffee machine etc - locks and everything moldy , ants, cleanliness. The hotel is a lot older than the photos make out and some money needs to be invested to upgrade. The rooms upstairs or better said the bathroom looked better but then there were carpets with a bed which was on the floor - lying so close on the floor to a carpet where I question the cleanliness isn’t so appealing - esp when over 30 degrees. For the same price you get much higher quality down the road eg Mangrove Chalets
