The location
Very small room and bed. Bed not very comfortable.
I needed a night to sleep somewhere, this perfectly fit rhe bill for that, and I considered a private bathroom for that price a nice extra! Got to recover in an actual bed after several being on my legs hiking, so this was a very welcome option.
The coffee & tea stocked in the room was nice too!
Also got to stow away mt luggage for my last day so I could explore London a bit
The park across was a bit loud with a bunch of shouting sadly. But not much in the control of the hotel.
The location
Pretty much everything
The location was ideal for my needs, just a few steps from King’s Cross Station, and the price was very reasonable. I had specifically requested a room on a higher floor so I could safely leave the window open. Not only was this request accommodated, but my room also faced the back of the property, making it nice and quiet. I was very pleased with how well my preferences were met.
This was more my own fault for not reading the booking details properly—oops. I ended up booking the annex, which isn’t signposted, although the instructions did clearly state that check-in is at the main building.
Refurb is very successful. Water was hot and bed comfortable.
Nothing to do with hotel, but Argyle Square is not the quietest place after about 3pm!
Don't know where the "music" originates
Hyvä Sijainti lähellä rautatieasemia
Huoneisto oli parhaat päivänsä nähnyt. Ilmanvaihto ei toimi kunnolla. Suihkun jälkeen pitkään kostea ilma. Sänky oli todella kapea. Kuntoonsa nähden liian kallis huone
Clean and quiet room, comfortable bed
The bathroom drain was not flowing.
How can you charge those prices and have such poor accommodation. It was like a squatters pad.
Everything from having to walk to another building 3 minutes away for keys to the quality of the rooms
Nah am Bahnhof Kings Cross
Bett gemütlich
Kein Safe für Wertsachen
Clean and good location. Ideal for one person
Old and cheap furniture
the location was okay for me, near a tube station and close to shops and pubs so I could get something to eat. the building itself was actually pretty quiet and noise had been something I had been worried about.
You have to go to another hotel to collect and drop off keys. Theres three or four flights of stairs and no elevator. the only toiletries in the bathroom is a small cheap bar of soap. not even shampoo. no bedside lights. the bathroom light is turned on by turning on the extractor fan which is quite high up the wall and i didnt expect. the bed has a very cheap metal frame that squeaks when you move. for london though it was cheap.
Good price and convenient location.
No fridge, very small bed, cramped bathroom.
The location was really good 2-3 min from King's cross train, the staff very friendly. The room was cozy, clean and quiet
Very close to St Pancras and Kings Cross station. Easy to check in and locate. Bed was comfortable.
Fair warning if you have heavy luggage like I did make sure you request ground floor!! I had to carry my 20kg suitcase up to the third floor which was really rough on skinny steep stairs (there was 8 flights in total like up and then up was one floor). Also the bathroom is sensor light so don’t freak out if it switches off mid shower. The walls are also paper thin so you can hear your neighbours.
