Pros:

Good proximity to where we were going

Cons:

Emailed on 3 ocassions about taxis and food and never received a reply.
Room was a bit tired looking but clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was ok.

The staff were great. Very accommodating.

Cons:

The bed was annoyingly uncomfortable. I could feel the springs underneath. The pillows were hard, lifeless, and flat. The toilet ran all night, and the dog next door did not stop barking.
From 05:30 you will start to get noise during the week from traffic. Very busy road. For a three day stay, there is no maid service. I had an interest room coffee in that afternoon that I arrived. Day three, the coffee cup was still there.

Nice old pub with hotel, Convenient location with park and ride into York.
Pros:

Convenient location to park and ride. Clean accommodation and friendly staff. Food good. Breakfast very good. Real Ale kept well - knowledgeable cellarman.

Loved that they had Netflix

Cons:

Mattress could do with an upgrade. Shower rail was falling off the wall (a little DIY adjustment made it useable but not mentioned to staff)

It’s my 3rd or 4th stay here. Gets more expensive every year. But doesn’t everything. Ideal for car

Excellent breakfast included in price. A Mediterranean touch to
English fry up. Eg poached eggs with rocket available.

Cons:

No plastic cups in bathroom. I think china one are dangerous if used in bathroom. Garden a little overgrown. Needs tidying.

it appeared that if you required anything you had to ask. Nothing was done automatically.
Pros:

breakfast was fine food wise not the staff who served it

Cons:

nobody came to our room during our stay to check bins etc towels or tea and coffee provisions

Pros:

Perfect location, short taxi drive into the centre of York. Staff were very pleasant, rooms were immaculate - the inside of the pub was decorated beautifully and the breakfast the next morning was phenomenal, looking to go back soon.

Clean and comfortable rooms, outside areas and food need improvement
Pros:

The rooms were comfortable and clean but not served between nights. The beds were wide and bathrooms good. Otherwise functional, just a pity about the noisy road.

Cons:

Food was pretty basic and not up to expectations, and outside spaces hardly maintained
