We spent 4 nights here and couldn't have asked for a better stay. Whatever we needed, Yingzi and Chef Dai were happy to accommodate. More water and coffee, no problem. Dippy eggs for breakfast, no problem. A packed breakfast or early breakfast, no problem. Jim picked us up and dropped us off at the train station and drove us around while we were there. It was so easy visiting the Yungang Grottoes, Huayan Temple, Shanhua Temple, and the Hanging Monastery. The Ancient City, with endless shops and restaurants, is an easy walk away. Communication wasn't an issue, while they didn't speak English, they knew their way around translation apps. ;-) Being able to do a load of laundry while there was an added bonus. If you're visiting the area, I would highly recommend staying here.

Jim, the owner, is an incredibly kind and warm-hearted person. His happiness and positive energy are absolutely contagious! He kindly picked us up at the train station and was always available and helpful throughout our entire stay. He even went out of his way to help one of our friends, who wasn’t staying at the hotel. Jim genuinely has a heart of gold.

A big thank you also to Liu, who was absolutely lovely and always ready to make us feel cared for and pampered. Thanks to both of them, we truly felt at home.

We stayed in the Warm Family Room, which was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was large and incredibly comfortable, and the cleanliness was absolutely impeccable.

They took such great care of us throughout our entire trip and even helped organize a day trip for us to discover the beautiful places and attractions in the area. Their attention to detail and genuine care made our stay even more special.we had the pleasure to try and authentic local breakfast!

Unfortunately, the days always fly by when you’re having a wonderful time! We truly hope we’ll have the chance to come back one day.

El hotel estaba muy limpio, lo que más nos gustó que Jim te viene a buscar a la estación de tren, nos enseñó la ciudad de noche y te ayuda en todo lo que necesitas y la mañana cojimos un tour con el y como nos sobró tiempo antes de cojer el tren me incluyó la visita por la ciudad. Alegre y muy atento, se preocupan mucho por ti.

Nous avons vraiment la disponibilité et réactivité de Jimu. Directeur de ce super boutique hôtel, il a été un guide exceptionnel durant 2 jours.
L'établissement est très bien situé, confortable, propre, spacieux et offre un excellent et copieux petit-déjeuner.

Todo estaba bastante nuevo, limpio y cuidado.
El desayuno no es buffet ni muy variado, pero es muy rico y casero, con opción occidental (tostadas, café , huevos, fruta. Aunque los fideos están deliciosos y recomiendo probarlos).

Las instalaciones, muy modernas, el trato del personal y la ubicación, cerca de los lugares turísticos pero en una zona tranquila que permite el descanso

Five blessings hotel is indeed a blessing. We stayed there for 3 nights and all the staff went above and beyond to help us. They picked us up at the train station and helped arrange the day trips to visit the highlights in Datong's surroundings. The owner, Jimu, is super nice and provided many good tips to make the most of our trip.The room was superb, with all the modern comforts but with enchanting traditional vibes.
The breakfast was delicious and they did their best to accommodate my husband, who is vegan.What I also liked is that the hotel is perfectly located and all the main points of the ancient city are within walking distance. At the same time, it is secluded enough so that you can enjoy the quietness and relax. We even slept with the window open and it was such a delight.
I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Datong and I would certainly love to come back and meet our friends at the Five Blessings Hotel again.

Le petit déjeuner était de haute qualité et nous a permis d'expérimenter le petit déjeuner chinois. Tout le personnel était aux petits soins. Nous avons eu la chance de croiser Ti Mu, le chauffeur de l'hôtel, qui pendant deux jours nous a conduis sur trois différents sites de la région tout en nous donnant les meilleurs conseils afin d'optimiser les files d'attentes (très important pour le Xuankongsi!) et les temps de visite. Mille mercis à lui! Les fruits de son jardin étaient très bons.

Todo está nuevo y limpio. Jim un gran guía y una persona muy muy simpática. Muy servicial. Nos llevó al Templo Colgante bien temprano para poder conseguir tickets. Valió la pena.
