I would give 11/10 if possible. Excellent host May, great food and coffee, great view.
Rooms are a bit small and humid.
On a été accueillis comme des chefs! Tom est vraiment un hôte adorable, qui nous a donné pleins de super conseils sur des choses à faire et voir dans la région. La chambre était super propre, et la vue depuis la chambre est vraiment incroyable. On a pu prendre des scooters depuis l’hôtel pour se balader dans les alentours. Je recommande vivement!

בתיאור החדר כתוב שהוא 40 מטר, אך הוא אולי חצי מזה.. מה שהיה קצת מאכזב עבורנו.
מלבד זאת המזרן קשה מאוד ועשה לנו כאבי גב, והאורות בחדר מעומעמים מאוד.
Beautiful rooms looking directly over the terraced rice paddies. Tom is a great host. Located up on the ridge, not in town, so best to rent a scooter to explore the area.
La qualité du service. La disponibilité, le contact et l’accueil du personnel. La vue depuis la chambre. Hôte ultra disponible, qui vous donnera des idées de trajets de randonnée selon vos souhaits. Possibilité de booker un bus pour prochaine destination.
Matelas assez dur (ce qui peut ne pas convenir à tout le monde). Forte humidité dans les toilettes / salle d’eau. Robinetterie instable/cassée. Petit-déjeuner copieux mais fruits parfois peu mûrs. Dommage que l’on ne puisse pas choisir les fruits que l’on veut.
Dommage que l’on ne puisse pas louer des scooters depuis l’établissement.
L’établissement est très agréable, la vue de la chambre sur les rizières est fantastique et en bonus nous avons le levé de soleil. La chambre est grande, propre avec une jolie décoration. Pour ce qui est du petit déjeuner, il est très bien. Côté repas, vous pouvez déjeuner et dîner sur place, il est également possible d’avoir des cocktails. Bon rapport qualité prix à ce niveau. Le personnel et la patronne sont d’une grande gentillesse et toujours prêts à vous aider. À noter qu’il y a une bonne balade à faire dans les rizières en contrebas pendant 2 à 3 heures, sinon scooter obligatoire pour visiter le coin (Sur une journée: Village Kho Muong, cascade Hieu, rivière Cham).
Au niveau du balcon/terrasse de la chambre il manque de quoi s’asseoir et une petite table pour admirer la vue.
Quelques planches sur la terrasse attenante au restaurant devraient être changées pour l’entretien et éviter un accident.
A noter: La location de scooter, même si elle ne dépend pas de l’établissement (en face) est le double du prix habituel.
Stunning remote location and perfect getaway from Hanoi. Great food menu and there was a great variety for the free breakfast which was filling. Lovely garden and swings and place to relax, very very quiet and not so touristy :)
There was a lovely rice paddies walk to the village and bat caves however there’s not much else to do by foot, so would recommend renting bikes if staying longer and want to explore. Otherwise this is the place you want to be to chill

Great stay in Pu Long! Amazing views of the rice terraces and mountains right from the place, great place to unwind. The staff was super friendly, food good, and beds were comfy and clean. Had to extend an extra night because I didn’t want to leave. Thank you Tôm!

Pu Luong May Home & Cafe was an incredible experience! Tôm went above and beyond as a host, taking care of every detail—from arranging our airport pickup to organising a full-day local tour, even including a relaxing massage, and ensuring smooth transport to our next destination. The food was outstanding, and the included breakfasts were a favourite with our kids. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and boasted stunning views. Highly recommend for a well-organised, relaxing getaway!

We booked the 10 bed dorm, but the amazingly kind host upgraded us to a private room for no extra charge. The room was really lovely with an amazing view. The food was delicious and the host was amazing at recommending stuff for us to do and bike routes. This is a must stay in this place.

The view is spectacular. The food is really nice. Tom helped to arrange trip in the area and guided us in the area.
The mattress is comfortable for one person, with a privacy curtain. Breakfast features traditional Vietnamese dishes with options like soup, rice, or noodles, along with coffee. I particularly love the coffee here, it's strong and very Asian.
Everything served is fresh, and we really enjoyed it along with the view. The coffee area, in particular, has a spectacular and picturesque view overlooking the rice fields. The weather is lovely and cool, making me feel like I'm immersed in an '80s movie.
I came to Vietnam mainly to explore the less touristy rural areas, and this accommodation really met my needs. It’s as beautiful as a fairytale, nestled between mountains and rice terraces. Although I only stayed for one night, it left a lasting impression on me.
