The room photos are not the true picture. 🥺
Pros:

Mavis was friendly and put us in a different room when I got stuck in the bathroom soon after check in. The gardener was super quick to open the door ( which made me think he had done it before ).

Cons:

This place has the potential to earn a 9 rating if the owners pay attention to detail and clean the place properly and spotlessly ( small cockroaches in the cupboards) and take all broken pieces of cutlery and unnecessary stuff out of the room and decide on a colour scheme. Some complementary hand wash soap would be appreciated . The curtains are too long and can’t open. The glass panes on (both rooms ) glass doors were cracked. The bathroom mirror is too high - you can only see the top of your head ( this was already mentioned in a previous review). A little bit of proper maintenance can make a huge difference because this studio is set in a beautiful garden with an amazing view of the city. We were really disappointed.

Very cold room and no heater. I was offered an extra blanket and a kettle to fill a hot water bottle that was supplied.

Horrible stay
Cons:

We felt unwelcomed they didn't give us the remote for the gate so everytime we wanted to go out we had to go to the main house the when we coming back... We had to wait by the gate until they came to open and it was raining.... I think they might be racist i was really shocked because the reviews were praising them unless if the saff was just not present during our stay

Perfect Getaway
Pros:

We loved the whole week in Pretoria staying at Garden Studio. Was our first time staying here, but it was worth it. The 2 rooms we booked was very comfortable, clean, neat and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly, helpful and respectful. We felt quite at home.

It is clean and everything is neat. Not far from Menlyn, it's quiet and peaceful.
