A lovely place to stay close to our family in Forest Hill. The staff were very helpful and welcoming.

Pros:

The room was gorgeous

Cons:

We arrived at about 3.30pm and there was a record launch party going on in the bar downstairs. I get that this room is in a pub but there was a room full of tripping people at 3.30pm and extremely loud music, it was so loud the guy checking us in had to shout and we still heard nothing. It was very uncomfortable battling our way through the crowd of people to get to our room. The music was deafening and didn’t stop till 11pm. It was basically hell. Such a shame as the room itself was lovely and the staff seemed nice (shouting aside) but the pub should absolutely not have let rooms out while they had this type of event happening. Our lovely romantic night in London was essentially completely ruined. I would have appreciated a follow up at least or an apology, and really should have been offered a partial refund.

Pros:

Bed was comfortable linen and towels very clean

Cons:

Not worth £160. No breakfast included for the price. No where to replenish milk tea etc when pub closed. No bottled drinking water provided. No fridge. Cleaning was very poor. Shower, the water went all over the floor when used. Sink, took ages to run some cold water to clean teeth and fill kettle. Could not shut the window. Was told they have just taken over the pub and was refurbishing but in my view why charge top money for not top facilities.

Personale squisito, simpatico e disponibile!!!

Cons:

Il mobilio, i materiali di costruzione e gli accessori sono molto molto economici e mal funzionanti. Forse anche per problemi di assestamento in quanto è stato ristrutturato e aperto da poco.

Great place to stay, really friendly owner.
Pros:

Great location, owner was so helpful and really friendly. Lovely atmosphere in the bar. Room was gorgeous, really comfy bed, shower was excellent.

Nothing. Loved it all.

Pros:

The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are very pleasant and attentive. We had some issues that were very quickly sorted. Its very clean. very comfortable mattresses. Loads of tea and coffee. Nice shower. Very close to lots of buses. Very good Vietnamese restaurant a few doors up and a Tesco over the road.

Cons:

Its midway between 2 train stations. Very steep stairs which are a challenge for anyone with limited mobility. Felt expensive but thats London over Xmas I suppose.

Lovely stay in immaculate room and conveniently situated for my needs
Pros:

Clean and comfortable. Well decorated. Excellent staff- check in and out very efficient.
Plenty of tea/coffee and biscuits.

Pros:

lovely but simple room - the double bed was comfortable and i had a good nights sleep although the mattress was softer compared to what i normally sleep on. Room was lovely and warm even though it was very cold outside. Bathroom was a very spacious wetroom with a nice shower. Tesco Supermarket very near and a couple of restaurants if you don't like mexican food which the pub serves.

Cons:

key didn't work to get in at 2am, but a quick call and we were let in.

Quarto amplo, bem localizado e com ótima hospitalidade.
Pros:

Reservei o quarto por dois dias enquanto fazia estágio em um Hospice. O quarto é bem grande e espaçoso, fica em frente a um tesco express e próximo de cafeterias, além de ter um bar embaixo. Fomos muito bem recebidos e percebemos a preocupação constante do anfitrião em nos fazer sentir confortáveis. Um excelente local para se estar na região.
