It was horrible.
Cons:

The fact the guy working kicked my son out cuz he wouldn't show his id when he is 17 shouldn't have had to show anything. We didn't even stay there cuz my son was so uncomfortable. I want a Refund

The staff was a friendly man which was the only positive

Cons:

There was only two small towels. The carpets were full of animal fur and had not been vacuumed. The bathroom was disgusting with urine all over the ground and toilet seat. There was hair all over the sink and dirt. My boyfriend had to kill the silver fish slithering on the bathroom floor for me. Our lock on our door was broken and it was clear that someone had taken a crow bar to the door with the visible crow bar marks on the wood. There was smoke detector it had been ripped out of the room. The tv did not work. The room was overall just dirty. Thankfully we did not seem to encounter bed bugs although I was quite worried I’d find some too. It was a shit hole. Also the property usually is $50 a night but because a concert was in town I was charged $200 to stay in that shithole for one night!

It was disappointing that booking.com listed this stay as “pleasant” when it was far below that.
Pros:

The modernized attempt.

Cons:

Dogs barking and doors slamming all night. Odor in the lobby and hallways. Stained towels. Flickering lights. Our door was literally open when we arrived. Only affordable-ish place to stay due to Fargo marathon in town.

Very bad experiance.
Cons:

The hotel staff were waving burning insense around the front desk when I checked in, the floor appeared very dirty, edges of plastic flooring were turning green. My hotel room had stains in the sheets and the carpet, hair all over the sink as well and finger/toenail clipping on the floor. When I tried to contact the hotel about this, staff were very rude, raising there voice at me on the phone, and saying that I can only ask for a refund if I call throughout the night. Incredibly disappointed.
