Was comfy, great location, just dirty
Pros:

Location was great and the bed was comfy

Cons:

Very dirty, I’m convinced the bin was the only thing changed. Random bottle of lynx wash in the shower with hairs on it, hairs and an insane amount of dust on the window and in/on the bed side lockers

Cons:

This was an absolutely terrible experience. This building is unsafe and your room is accessible to the general public. I arrived several hours after my intended check-in, assuming that surely the room would be clean and ready for my stay. The key to the room was not in the lock box that the host said it would be in, instead it was in the door, and the door was wide open. The bed was unmade/slept in, meaning that the sheets had not been changed from the previous guests and the room had not been cleaned at all. The entire building was very eerie and I did not feel safe there whatsoever. I left as soon as I saw the state of the room, and had to scramble to find a different place to sleep that night as I am not native to Galway. The host never apologized and didn't even respond to me until contacted by Booking.com. He then texted me that he was "on his way to clean the room". At this point, it was over 6 hours after my check-in time (a little late to get to cleaning the room). This property is unsafe and clean, and the host is unresponsive. Photo evidence attached as well.

Appalling accommodation - not sure whether this would pass health and safety inspections

Cons:

1. full of mould, particularly in the bathroom 2. really difficult to get into the room as given wrong code 3. no wifi at all the whole time there 4. the TV didn't work 5. advertised that had a kitchenette but this was a skanky shared one amongst 5 rooms 6. cold room 7. nowhere to dry towels and no change of towels 8. tiny room 9. dirty 10. difficult to find the property as not clearly signposted 11. really damp 12. noisy at night

Pros:

Muy buena ubicación, a pesar de que Galway es pequeño. La chica que limpiaba nos permitió dejar nuestras mochilas antes del check in y fue muy amable. Cama, instalaciones y limpieza 10/10.

Cons:

No nos molestó a nosotros pero, si te molesta el ruido, debes saber que hay una fiesta muy popular al lado y se escucha por la noche. El desagüe de la ducha estaba un poco tapado, casi se rebalsaba al ser una ducha bajita.
