The epitome of rip-off Ireland. Avoid unless you want an expensive prison-type experience.

It;s very rare for me to write a review about a property, but I feel compelled here - as this property is the epitomé of what is known as 'rip-off Ireland". The accommodation is basically a small store room with a bed put in. The room is barely the width of the bed, and has no window - so you've no idea what time of day it is outside or what the weather is, and no ability to open a window to let fresh air in (as would've been helpful during this heatwave). There is also very loud music from a neighbouring bar all day until late at night. The wifi in the property is poor, and as the TV seems to only work via wifi it means that it was also unusable (unhelpful durig the World Cup). I sent the property owner mutiple messages via Booking.com and by WhatsApp and text message about the TV etc, but they never bothered responding to a single one. And the property was very expensive. So if you've ever wondered what it would be like in solitary confinement whilst having your wallet emptied, this might just be the place for you. Otherwise - avoid.

Cons:

Everything could have been better. The cost, the room size, the lack of window/ventilation, the poor wifi, the TV which is just an ornament. It was all bad.

Grand for the price good location but the music at 8am very unsociable hour

Vale la pena gastar unos euros más y alquilar un lugar con ventanas donde se pueda respirar.

Es pequeñísimo, no tiene ventanas y era muy húmedo. Te faltaba el aire.

Logement présenté comme un appartement complet alors qu’il s’agissait en réalité d’une simple chambre sans AUCUNE fenêtre. Le plus absurde : un cadre avec un paysage et des rideaux avaient été installés pour donner l’illusion d’une vraie fenêtre… on a sincèrement cru à une blague. Je ne suis même pas certaine qu’une chambre sans fenêtre soit légale.

Les photos étaient aussi trompeuses : la cuisine montrée n’était pas privative mais commune. La communication avec l’hôte a été catastrophique du début à la fin.

Et pour couronner le tout, l’isolation était inexistante : on entendait parfaitement le voisin prendre sa douche. Entre l’odeur de toilettes persistante et le reste, très mauvaise expérience.

En dernier recours nous avons même tenter d’annuler le séjour avec Booking.com, mais le propriétaire ne leurs a jamais répondu …. La réclamation est obligatoire.
