Location is in a sketchy neighborhood with unprotected parking. Didn't feel safe leaving anything in the car. The door to our room looked like it had been kicked in before and now has tape supporting the new door frame so we propped a chair up against the door. Shower was extremely loud.
We got back to the place at 9pm and there were other tenants in the next room over being loud and obnoxious (yelling, jumping, falling on the ground) causing us to feel unsafe so we called the property manager to help and they called them to ask them to be quiet. Nothing changed so we called again and the property manager asked us to talk to them but we declined since it isn't our property and therefore not our responsibility. The property manager called them again, the loud tenants assured them that they were not being loud so he messaged us to let us know that. We called him back to confirm that they were still being loud and to come intervene, he refused and told us to call the cops. When we told him that we didn't like that answer, he told us to go stay somewhere else and cancel the booking (the refund is still pending two days later as booking.com is reviewing the issue). Seems like they were not willing to lift a finger to ensure that all of their guests felt safe or comfortable.
