It's in a nice location for a fair price, and is relatively quiet. If you're looking for a good place to just keep your things and rest, look no further!
Not a knock against the place, but I think someone had an alarm clock running nonstop during the day. Was annoying since I had some work to do while at the hostel. That said, that's a person issue, not a hostel issue. I didn't run into any issues, but there is only one shower, so you may be waiting to use it! Having to enter a code to enter the hostel and your room (if you get a single) is annoying, but may be good incentive to NOT get wasted.
covenient location
clean
Gion location (close to east-side of tokyo + shrines) BUT far from train station (10-15 min walk). Friendly front door staff. Obviously a common spot for international traveler
Karaoke bar downstairs (BUT earplug were provided). Hostel so experience may wary depending on group staying during your stay but i had a good experience (friendly co-hostel occupants)
Good location. In Kyoto, you get what you pay for, and that wasn't much.
This place is TINY. My studio room was 2 by 2.5 meters. I've had bigger office cubicles. Basic board bed with thin futon, it's pretty hard. If you can afford more, pay it.
The owner is really friendly and helpful. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped. The location is also nice.
The "matress" was simply a piece of foam like those in gym class. It is very bad which made me wake up sore every day.
I liked the location.
super clean and good communication
we stayed at a private room but it is within the hall where all the hostel beds so there isnt much privacy or quietness. it is really clean but for the price i don’t think its worth it.
The location as it was just a stone throwaway from the Geisha district. The lady at the reception was really lovely and helpful
The room is basic but you get what you have paid for Despite being next to a big dorm it was quiet
The facilities were plenty and I didn’t have to wait in any queue either for the bathrooms or for the toilets
It is a clean establishment.
The price was a bit steep considering that it is simply a hostel.
The location was great, the facilities were clean
We had a private room for two which was so small and the price was high for what we received
Really tidy place, nice lady at reception, I was lucky to book personal room so I had safe space for my belongings.
