The View - Jungle Lodges - Port Barton

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au View Jungle.
L'accueil de Jimmy et Nico était vraiment top. Ils sont de très bon conseil, toujours disponible et d'une super gentillesse.
Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et la vue depuis le lodge est tout simplement incroyable.
Cela restera sans aucun doute l'un des plus beaux souvenirs de notre voyage aux Philippines.

Ein wundervolles Erlebnis im Dschungel. Das Personal ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind mit Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Rose, die gute Seele des Hauses, kümmert sich um köstliches Frühstück. Die Lage ist abgelegen und perfekt für erholsame Tage. White Beach ist nicht weit. Ein TukTuk Service kann immer organisiert werden. Wer ein einzigartiges, authentisches Dschungelerlebnis erleben möchte, mit Affen und Natur, der ist hier genau richtig. Man sollte sich vorher informieren, dass es kein warmes Wasser zum Duschen gibt und keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist. Das war für mich absolut kein Problem.

Sehr schöne Lage mit toller Aussicht. Die Besitzer machen den Aufenthalt besonders - vielen Dank die Hilfsbereitschaft. Auch die lieben Hunde und Katzen waren für uns toll. Zum Strand sind es ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß und das Schlafen mit Moskitonetz ein kleines Abenteuer.

Bravo à Jimmy et Nico pour leurs magnifiques lodges au milieu de la jungle. Un moment de partage très agréable, on aurait aimé rester plus qu'une nuit. Un vrai régal également au petit déjeuner, tout est frais et fait maison. Je recommande à 100%.
Bonne continuation à vous, plein de bonheur et de réussite dans vos futurs projets.

We stayed at The View in Port Barton for six nights and absolutely loved it.

Nico, Jimmy, and Rose are truly lovely human beings and made us feel welcome from the very first moment. Jean-Luc, the house dog, is an absolute character, and Charly and le chat (the cats, obviously 😄) are incredibly sweet and added so much charm to our stay.

The place itself is calm and laid-back, beautifully located on a hill and surrounded by a paradise-like garden. It’s the perfect spot to slow down, relax, and enjoy nature. We felt completely at home here — cozy, peaceful, and cared for.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil, heartwarming place in Port Barton.

PS: Bring mosquito repellent if you plan to sit outside in the afternoons — don’t forget, you’re in the jungle! 🦟🌴

We had a wonderful stay.
The hosts were so friendly and created a warm, family-like atmosphere. They were very helpful and attentive.

Los propietarios son muy majos. Las casitas están muy cuidadas y es un sitio super tranquilo y puedes tener intimidad ya que la cabaña se puede cerrar. Nos encantó el lugar. Lo recomiendo 100%

On a adoré l'emplacement, la vue, le calme. On a aussi apprécié les échanges avec Jimmy et Nico. Vraiment endroit idéal pour se ressourcer. En plus 10 mn à pied de White beach. Accès en tuk-tuk, bateaux ou comme nous en 2-roues. Sur le 2 roues, les 3 derniers km supposent un peu de maîtrise sur certains passages avec ornières. Çela amplifie le parfum du depaysement.

Prachtige locatie, middenin de natuur met een geweldig uitzicht! White beach is een gewelig strand op loopafstand. Het is wel moeilijk om op de locatie te komen en dus ook om even naar een andere plek te gaan. Jimmy en Nicolas zijn geweldige en hulpzame mensen en het ontbijt was echt top!!

The villas at the View have been beautifully designed. The views from the bed across to jungle and the bay are stunning. The owners are very friendly and welcoming.

To reach the lodge you either have to take a very bumpy tuktuk ride from port barton (it is not possible with a normal car) or we found it preferable to take a boat from port barton to white beach (they run regularly until around 4). The walk is easy from white beach. Only 15 minutes. The beach itself is a soft sandy beach that was never too busy, so it was perfect to have this within easy reach of the lodge.

There is no restaurant at the View but the bar restaurant next door is excellent.

L'emplacement permet de se ressourcer tout en pouvant accéder aisément à la plus belle plage, soit White beach.
Port Barton est également facile d'accès via les navettes bateaux qui partent très régulièrement de White Beach.
La vue est magnifique et que dire de l'accueil réservé par Jimmy et Nico qui sont des hôtes extrêmement attentifs.

Une bulle de bonheur en pleine jungle ! Jimmy et Nico sont adorables et attentionnés.

Absolutely fabulous Darling! Wonderful hosts, spectacular views, even getting there was a joy. A real adventure.
