Cozy apartment
Pros:

Lovely little room in a great location. It was easy to find the place which was well lit in a shared alley, and the instructions to get in were clear. They've been able to fit a lot into a small space. I liked the bench under the window which gave me lots of space for my travel bags and stopped the room from feeling cluttered. Plenty of power outlets. The bed was very comfortable and the area wasn't too noisy compared to other places I stayed. There was a cool view of the world passing by.

Cons:

The towels were very very musty/mouldy smelling and I felt gross using them - please just buy some new ones. There needs to be some hand soap next to the sink and I wish there was a small shelf in the shower for my toiletries. The wifi was quite patchy.

I would also add it should be clear from booking that this isn't suitable for anyone who will struggle with a narrow staircase or with lots of luggage, and it should also be made clear that it is cash payment only so people can prepare. I was ready for both based on other reviews and I'm adding it here again for others to see.

Отличное место, чтобы не теряя время начать наслаждаться прогулками по самым красивым местам города .
Pros:

Максимально Удобное расположение в самом центре Ханоя! Озеро Хоанкьем в двух минутах пешком . Уникло большой хороший магазин тут же у озера )) . Владелец заранее скинул всю информацию как найти жилье, внутри комната была чистая и приятная для нахождения .

Cons:

Если Вы выше 185 см то упретесь в потолок , так как комнатка очень маленькая с низкими потолками .)) также очень узенькая винтовая лестница ведущая к комнате на 4 этаже , но это настоящее погружение в мир Ханоя, поэтому нам очень понравилось это испытать .

Das Zimmer war ganz hübsch, mit Geschmack ausgestattet, gemütlich.
Der Vermieter war so nett und hilfsbereit.
Ich würde sofort wieder buchen!

Cons:

Es ist etwas schwer zu finden. Ein Hinweis an der Straße wäre gut.
Die Treppe ist bissle schwierig zu gehen, wenn man Knieprobleme hat

Lovely stay and wonderful host who was always here to message if needed.

Good place for a short stay overall.
Pros:

Staff seemed friendly and were consistent with online communications. We were able to check in slightly early which we appreciated as the weather was wet and cold; We found this very accommodating. Check in and check out was nice and easy too! Location of property is a great base to explore. The room had a cosy feel and was comfortable enough for a couple to stay easily. The steep, narrow stairs to the top floor (mentioned in previous reviews) didn’t both us at all, we’re a young couple, but I imagine if your mobility doesn’t allow for stairs you would struggle; no elevator alternate as property is nice and compact. Towels provided, shower gel and microwave/kettle/hairdryer was useful too.

Cons:

The room itself was drafty and chilly; No heater is provided currently and the 32 degrees mode on AC unit wasn’t sufficient.
The linen on the bed unfortunately smelt unpleasant of body odour as if maybe hadn’t been changed, but could have just been damp; unsure of this. The environment is a fair bit noisey, with echoing voices in corridor throughout the day/night from other rooms and there was a persistent mechanical buzzing noise which unfortunately interrupted our sleep over the two nights we stayed.

Ottima posizione, camera piccola ma pulita e con tutto l'essenziale.

Cons:

Nota negativa, non c'era nessuno per il check in, ho dovuto scrivere e contattare l'host, ma in compenso per il check out sono stati molto molto fiscali nonostante i 10 minuti di ritardo dal liberare la stanza, dipendessero dal fatto che fossi uscito a prelevare poiché il pagamento doveva essere fatto in contanti da lasciare in una busta nella buca delle lettere.

The place is nice and well located.

Cons:

The property only accepts cash and it is not specified anywhere in the site, so the payment was problematic and there were no concessions on their side (offer to pay the extra fees as it was their fault for example).

Steep staircases leads to the upper apartment. Can be challenging for elderly guests with heavy luggage. The owner is responsive and accessible via WhatsApp.

Small but has all the necessities
Pros:

The room is small but has every basic thing a single traveller or couple needs. There is even a microwave, sink, etc to be semi self sufficient.

The large windows that open help the room to feel bigger and lets in a good amount of natural light. There is also an air conditioner.

The location was fantastic and overall a great budget option.

Cons:

Note that there is a lot of light from the hallway and from outside that gets into the room at night. I had to use a sleeping mask to sleep.
