Pros:

Second time visitors - lovely, historic building set in beautiful grounds with a golf course wrapped around. Facilities improving all the time (investment in new Spa).

Cons:

Data signal is virtually non existent and WiFi very slow. Need to ensure comms capability is spot on in today’s world.

Nice building, lovely staff but not worth the money unfortunately
Pros:

The breakfast was really wonderful, couldn’t fault the service or options.
The grounds and building are absolutely stunning.
The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive, I couldn’t be more impressed with their service.
The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are quite sounds proof, I definitely slept well!
Wonderfully deep bathtubs in the rooms.

Cons:

Our room was smaller than I anticipated, I booked the classic double and I felt like the pictures when booking did not represent the size of the room we were given.
This may be me nitpicking, but a lot of the grout in the shower was orange and the silicone was black in that places. The room and bathroom were clean but I felt like this fell below what I’d expect at a 5 star hotel.
We booked the emerald restaurant for our meal, on arrival we were told half the menu wasn’t available and while we were eating, the music playing was on someone’s Spotify and it kept playing McDonalds adverts every 3/4 songs.
The jacuzzi was out of order too with no prior warning which was pretty disappointing.
The massages, at £120 each for an hour, we felt was overpriced.

its good but 4 stars not 5. it could be so much better with more input to sort issues out
Pros:

Room was spacious and a good quality. however, no hot water on 2nd morning and room was cold on arrival. No internet available in the room.
Breakfast service haphazard.
staff were good.

Nice location , no proper air conditioning , a noisy Dyson fan
Cons:

The room was too hot so we couldn’t sleep , there was a Dyson air conditioner but it didn’t cool the room and was so so noisy , we left exhausted from very little sleep by

Exceptional stay!
Pros:

Everything was amazing! The hotel and the grounds are absolutely stunning especially the great hall. The staff was very lovely. The room was nice with a lovely view on the fountain. The bed is very comfortable. The restaurant was great, quiet and the food was delicious. The bar is beautiful and breakfast was amazing. The spa is also very nice.

Nothing, all was perfect!

A break from normality and the outside world which was enjoyed by me and my fellow 2 guests.
Pros:

Dinner was an excellent slow ramble through a forest of good food.

My room was comfortable and I liked overlooking the swimming pool. There was a little difficulty with wasps gaining entry.

Cons:

The piano in the Great Hall was out of tune and did not deserve the 'do not touch' sign. I would have liked to play something.

The large wall clok in the Great Hall had not been put forward to BST - a disappointing error.

All in all a very nice visit.
Pros:

Very relaxing atmosphere. All facilities were clean and the food was really good.

Cons:

Our room was far too hot, although there was a fan in the room it was too noisy at night which meant we had quite restless nights.
