General areas of the property were okay ?
This is far from where the ratings suggest it should be. I don’t expect really high standards when I stay in places like Medan, but I’d hope that the minimum I get are clean bed sheets. But this was not the case.
The receptionists weren’t great … not overly helpful and not overly friendly, but unfriendly might be a bit of a stretch.
When we first arrived in our room, there were just dirty marks all over the bed sheets. We requested it got changed and it was replaced with new bed sheets, which didn’t have too much dirt on them, but did have lots of holes in them that looked as though they had been nibbled by rats or mice. If you wiped your hand over the sheets, you could see grease/oil over the palm of your hand.
But that’s not it - the rooms in general just weren’t clean at all, with the walls having loads of marks, dusty shelves and the bathroom not being clean either.
To combat this, we slept on towels and wrapped our own clean personal towels over the pillows.
I would not recommend this place, even for the price.

The staff was very friendly. English wasn’t that good but with the help of Google Translate we managed.
Dirty room, especially Shower and no toiletpapier so i got napkins. A lot of noise, We slept on the ground floor, people talking loud and singing.
I told them that I’m a vegetarian and got chicken with rice as breakfast 😵💫

Staff should be friendly and accommodating, yet still put some 'distance' from the guests.
One morning I sat on couch provided in front of my room and 1 staff suddenly sit at the same couch and stay there playing with her phone; it was just weird and uncomfortable that I decided to just go back in my room.

They charged me more than my booking confirmation's amount.
