Hotel Lunata is truly the perfect place to stay.
Pros:

What I liked about this incredibly beautiful, authentic and exceptionally staffed hotel was not only its prime location but its attention to detail from the art décor to the furniture to the color schemes. I've never seen a more lovely hotel during my stays in Mexico. A truly spectacular boutique accommodations.

Lovely retreat
Pros:

Very nice decoration and feels like a retreat. Comfortable bed. We were concerned about the noise from the street but the doubled doors/windows were good enough to block the sound.

Cons:

We were only informed about an extra local tax to be paid in cash at the moment of check in (no mention of it in Booking.com or through the message center). They offer some coffee and tea every morning, so it would be nice to also have the breakfast optiom available. This is not necessarily a problem as there are many restaurants nearby.

Superb the best
Pros:

I loved the staff !!!!!!!!!! The best staff ever..the sweetest most kind and most helpful ever!!! I loved the room super well cleaned, spotless...I loved to decor... loved the view to the garden... loved the shower :D Ah it was a superb place to stay!!!! I will comeback every year!!!!!!!!!

Good value for money
Pros:

Great staff. Very good location. We had a room with the view on the garden which really kept the room quiet eventhough it was in the busiest street of playa del carmen. Everything is nearby.

Pros:

The location is excellent on Fifth Avenue, you can walk in every direction, the property is clean, the rooms are comfortable and spacious , the staff is very friendly special Ivan we always stay here

Cons:

I have no complaints, only suggestions, Having a pool and offering breakfast would be great.

Charmant hôtel avec le jardin secret
Pros:

Tout était absolument parfait dans cet hôtel.
L’emplacement, en plein cœur de la 5ᵉ avenue, est pourtant comme un jardin secret : magnifique, paisible et plein de charme. Dès l’entrée jusqu’à la chambre, toutes les décorations sont élégantes et chaleureuses.

Le personnel est également très aimable et professionnel.
Chaque matin, du café et du thé étaient mis à disposition dans le petit pavillon du jardin. À tout moment, on trouvait de l’eau fraîche et de l’eau chaude dans le jardin ainsi qu’à chaque étage.

Nous avons passé les trois derniers jours de notre voyage de trois semaines au Mexique à Playa del Carmen.
Plutôt que d’être triste de la fin du voyage, c’est surtout de quitter le Lunata Hotel qui nous a fait de la peine. C’est de loin l’hôtel que nous avons préféré.

Je le recommande vivement.

Cons:

S’il fallait citer un seul inconvénient : les moustiques… surtout dans le lobby et le jardin, où ils étaient nombreux.
À part ce point, tout était vraiment parfait.

Simply magical; a calm oasis in the heart of Playa Del Carmen.
Pros:

Everything! The feel and energy of this place was a huge highlight for me. Although it is right on 5th Avenue it is a calm, considered oasis and I truly LOVED staying here. Room was absolutely beautiful facing the garden, facilities were gorgeous and authentically Mexican, the staff so accommodating and friendly and the location AWESOME. I will 100% come back here. ✨🙌🏽

Cons:

Would have loved some breakfast but that’s it!
