The location of the hotel with Galle fort is excellent, easy walk to the shops and the main tourist attractions. It’s within the fort and full of character with lots of puppets hanging on the wall, which gives it a memorable quirkiness. The highlight, however is the staff, who are wonderful, really fun and friendly and clearly get on well with one another. There’s a good atmosphere within the hotel and we really enjoyed our stay.

El desayuno era completamente personalizable y se adaptaron a nuestra dieta sin gluten. Bien ubicado para visitar la zona turística de Galle.

I loved my stay at this little hotel. I was expecting a very tiny room (the single room), but to be fair it was a bit bigger than I expected.
The room was super clean, simple but had everything I needed including air con and fan.
Special mention to the staff, everyone was friendly and incredibly helpful, they really made my stay special.
Breakfast is fantastic!
The only thing to flag is that the windows face a balcony, not the outside, so you don't really get a view.
And the toilet was only separated to the rest of the room by a small wall - so if you need maximum privacy that's something to consider.
But for staying in Galle 2-3 days it was just perfect!
Great location. Nice room. Breakfast was great. Staff was helpful. Room had water, tea and coffee and electric kettle. The restaurant Puppets is a great option for meals.
Mostly everything was great though it did get loud during the day.

Kamers zonder buitenraam, trap via keuken. Zeer brandgevoelig, lijkt me niet toegestaan.
We spent one night in Le Jardín du Fort and it was lovely. The location is absolutely incredible and the staff working here are all so lovely and welcoming. They made sure we had everything we needed from the start to the end and provided us with the best service. Would recommend this place to anyone. Rooms are lovely and clean with hot showers and working air con. The vibe of the place is also very nice. The breakfast was excellent.

Such a charming place to stay. Loved the quirky style, lovely rooms and kindness of all the staff we met. Sanjay in particular was really attentive and helpful to us. The breakfasts (& lunch/dinner options) at their restaurant “Puppets were really tasty and great value. All in all, we thoroughly recommend staying here - if you want to be somewhere with bags of personality and in the charming heart of the Galle fort area - choose here!
