Marevaura is a very responsive helpful host, her, her husband and home is peaceful and beautiful, tucked in the side of the most magnificent mountains. Marevaura will make you dinner and breakfast on request from their lovingly attended organic garden. It was a pleasure to have stayed there.

Tout. La propriété est jolie, entourée de verdure bien entretenue. Et l'environnement est silencieux, ça fait du bien ! La cuisine extérieure est toute équipée, et la chambre dispose de tout le confort nécessaire. Hubert est adorable et très intéressant. Il a été d'une grande aide pour moi qui me suis retrouvée dans une situation d'urgence. Il est toujours prêt à aider et se montre dévoué. Un vrai plaisir de connaître une personne comme ça.

Mareva and Hubert excellent welcome and breakfast. Traditional fare/pension. Sharing of local plant and food knowledge. I would love to stay again. Close to a supermarket (taking credit cards) and a couple restaurant options. a personal transportation mode to explore the rest of the island would be great for longer stays.
A recommander. Mareva et Hubert sont merveilleux et j'ai adore' mon sejour. Je reve d'y retourner. Fare/pension traditionnelle. Pour ceux qui sont pationnes de plantes et d'agriculture, ainsi que de culture locale. Merci Mareva et Hubert. Certains tours viennent vous chercher pas loin, mais pour explorer le reste de l'ile, un moyen de transport pour les sejours plus long est recommandable.

Mareva et Hubert réservent à leurs hôtes un accueil chaleureux. Chez eux, on se sent parfaitement bien. De plus, la localisation de l'hébergement permet d'être en lien direct avec la population locale, ce qui est très appréciable.

I spent two amazing weeks at Mareva and Hubert's nature, organic, authentic paradise. They are incredibly warm and lovely people who would just make your Polynesian stay real, because they just love their land and know how to introduce it to others. An know how to respect privacy.
The key words there for me were simplicity and resourcing. It's not your fancy hotel, but everything was clean, comfortable, and works well, from internet to hot water, ceiling fans, freely accessible kitchen and mosquito prevention!
I loved living outside so much (kitchen and shower are open to the outdoors), eating fresh produce and eggs from the garden each day, and enjoying my little private patio on the back.
Amazing sunrise views of Tahiti from just above the house, and this side of the island is best if you want to have a more local experience (and some small nice beaches and snorkeling place 2-5 kms away).
Scooter rental just down the road.
If you want a nature yet comfortable experience, down-to-earth and away from the tourist spots, this is your place

Wonderful hosts. Very welcoming and friendly. Room was as pictured. The room has a fan and windows for extra air flow. Private bathroom but it's out side the room. Would recommend a car if staying here. The home is up a hill. Not sure a scooter will make it.

Hosts have a beautiful yard and garden which makes for great views.

The wifi was good for working and there is a kitchen you have access too.

The hosts are lovely and happy to help you in making the most of your day in Moorea. Location is great, quiet, and views are breathtaking. Possibility to rent a scooter near by so you can explore the entire island at your own pace. The place itself was extremely clean and fresh, hot water in bathrooms, good internet speeds. Breakfasts and dinners were full of local products and were really yummy.
