Pros:

Pros:
The hotel is in a great location, making it very convenient to get around. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I also really appreciated the lovely view from the room.

Cons:

Cons:
There was a bit of confusion regarding the breakfast. At the time of booking, it appeared that breakfast was included, but I was later informed there would be an additional charge. A continental breakfast option was available, though this wasn’t clearly mentioned in advance, so clearer communication would be helpful.
The bathroom could benefit from a light refresh, particularly the bathtub. I also noticed a few small areas where a bit more attention to detail in cleaning would enhance the overall experience

Lovely, Scenic Hotel
Pros:

We had such a lovely stay at TY Afor! The location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views across the Welsh countryside, the perfect setting to unwind and take it all in. It’s also ideally situated if you’re visiting for walking, running, or heading out on some great nearby adventures.

The staff were amazing throughout our stay, so friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. Breakfast was spot on, with a great selection to suit everyone, and the rooms were cosy, comfortable, and just what we needed after a day out exploring.

A fantastic place to stay!

Cons:

Leaving!

Relaxing, comforting and indulgent stay that we can’t wait to repeat.
Pros:

Right away there was a friendly welcoming atmosphere, it was very homely. Our room was clean, comfortable with beautiful little touches of comfort and design. There was a fabulous range of teas, coffee, biscuits, water and even oat milk.
Later on we had the sharing platter, which exceeded our expectations. The dining room was again very welcoming, homely and beautifully designed with a cozy bar area to the side.
The beds were so comfortable we had a wonderful sleep and relax in the family room we stayed in. The shower and bath were also both very nice and clean.
The breakfasts were exceptional, with a great choice for families with children. Fresh local produce and again a great selection of teas, fresh coffee, juices, fruit and cooked to perfection. All with a fantastic view.
Set at the bottom of the mountain you are surrounded by beautiful views of nature that are so picturesque it’s mesmerising. A short walk away from the village which has some great restaurants, local pubs and shops including an amazing wood carving shop with the most beautiful carvings from nik naks to furniture. There is also a range of walks into and around the area for different abilities.
We had the most wonderful stay and experience and will definitely be going back to stay. A big thank you to Emma and Craig and all the staff that went above and beyond!

Cons:

Only that we didn’t stay longer.

A lovely, great value idyllic weekend away
Pros:

We had the most wonderful weekend away here. The hotel is set in an idyllic location, with great walks right on the doorstep. The hosts were friendly and made us feel relaxed. The rooms are a good size, clean, and comfortable. While the bathroom was a little dated compared to the rest of the hotel, it was perfectly functional and spotless. Breakfast was excellent and overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
They also had the most beautiful Christmas tree! We would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

Given the excellent value for money, it was difficult to find any real faults. While the hotel bar was slightly expensive and our room was at times cooler than we would have preferred, these were minor issues. Overall, the experience was excellent.

Overall enjoy led the stay!
Pros:

Nice location, good breakfast and decent size family room

Cons:

Dinner is a bit on the expensive side. If the luggage is heavy then have to be carried through the stairs as the room was on the first floor.
