Form prevails over functionality.
Pros:

I had previously stayed at another W hotel, in Osaka. Here in Suzhou the same general pattern repeats itself: modern, trendy, edgy design. Breakfast is a feast. The hotel is connected to a huge mall, which is quite convenient. And a fantastic lobby completes the picture. The laundry service deserves praise: punctual and of excellent quality.

Cons:

All this level of modernity comes with trade-offs. The furniture, for example, is beautiful but offers very few drawers. As a result, there is no option but to leave one’s clothes in the suitcases, which is rather annoying. Another point worth mentioning is the partition between the bedroom and the bathroom. It consists of a translucent wall—undoubtedly beautiful—but one that floods the entire room with light whenever the bathroom lights are turned on. Either you use the bathroom in the dark, or you end up waking anyone else in the room.

Suzhou, immer eine Reise wert
Pros:

W Hotel in Suzhou wie immer ein Traum, das Frühstück ist sensationell, für allen etwas dabei.
Direkt am Shopping Center liegend mit direkter Anbindung, bietet das W eine hervorragende Freizeitgestaltung.
Das Personal ist top und alle sprechen hervorragend Englisch. Das Management des W ist exzellent.

Location is o the city landmark.

Cons:

The lightings in the room, colourful color of green, purple, pink is too dark, and also creates an unsophisticated ambience. Considering it is a W chain, and its on the city landmark, it should be more prestigious. But that in my opinion makes the hotel feels cheap.
