For guests staying over the Christmas and New Year period, our restaurant service times and menu will change. For further information, please contact the hotel. Please be aware that the hotel cannot guarantee availability for dinner reservations. Should you wish to book a table in our restaurant please contact the hotel in advance of your stay to avoid any disappointment. Use of our spa facilities is restricted to between 08:00 - 10:00 for children aged 16 years and younger. Please note that spa treatments must be booked in advance to avoid disappointment. One hours use of the spa facilities is included for each night of your stay, pre-booking is essential. Nothing wrong with the room.
This hotel is a complete disappointment. I booked as we had a National meeting being held there. We had a previous meeting 20 years ago and the venue was fantastic. I can only say that this event was an embarrassment. The staff had no idea how to manage a conference. The evening meal was a complete joke. The bar closed early with no forewarning. The staff became dismissive when we asked questions about the meal/bar.

Location fabulous, spa exception since upgrade . Room stunning . Most staff exceptionally helpful but yet again let down by a few which is so sad .
The food, what a let down . Always had amazing food here but last nights dinner was abysmal. Black cod with more bones than fish for £32.95 they could have at least picked the bones out, tasteless potato cake and very bland. Seafood special £23.50 was a miss match of a prawn skewer with a potato slice and a bit of brisket with random courgettes and veg. Beef brisket was mostly all fat with crispy noodles. The only decent dish was the pork which the dinner loved. The puddings didn’t fair much better a beautiful strawberry tart but the put this disgusting basil gel under and the ice cream which was very unpleasant. The panacotta well it was not pleasing to the eye but apparently tasted lovely . The almond frangipan was a vanilla sponge no taste but a pleasant sponge. How disappointing it was my husbands 60th birthday and 6 of us booked 3 rooms and stayed the night . The food has always been exceptional but not this time . 😢😢 The staff need more training behind the bar as they are not handling the glasses properly when serving and their glasses are never a full pint. We were drinking in the bar but at 10pm we asked what time the bar closed as we felt they were waiting for us to leave they said 10pm. When told we were residents they just disappeared and we had to wait ages for drinks . What has happened to this amazing place it’s so disappointing 😢😢😢 We’ve been here several times as it’s a special place but won’t be eating here again if the food doesn’t improve or the staff behind the bar . Also the Tempest lounge was closed all night from 5pm. This was NOT communicated when we booked as this is a stunning place to sit and enjoy the view ⭐️ this is for the food and bar service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ this is for the hotel bedroom and the spa
The hotel was clean and well appointed, set in an amazing location , the staff were courteous, professional and pleasant.
Everything was excellent highly recommend hotel was lovely staff were amazing and very helpful the views were out of this world

Location great. Great views from room. Hotel staff warm friendly and professional. Having blue badge was given own parking bay.
Car park had some rough areas and some visitors parking was not good. I Had someone next to me park in disabled bay parking badly into my parking space. No blue badge.
Every member of staff was helpful, courteous and professional. The room was immaculately clean. Bed was super comfy. Spa was as advertised and very clean. Breakfast was good and the terrace to eat it on was superb. Breakfast Staff were attentive and polite.
No air con in the room (we were having a heatwave) but fans were supplied which was a plus

Das von mir gebuchte Zimmer war extrem klein. Das stand allerdings auch so in der Beschreibung, ich hatte es nur nicht vorher gesehen.
