What I liked (and also disliked) was the location. I liked that it was close to great hiking (to the lighthouse) and proximity to town. I didn't have a car while I was here and was able to walk everywhere I needed to go. Bed linens were clean. I liked that there was a full kitchen with everything I needed to prepare meals. Bring your own staples (salt, pepper, oil) though!
It was quite loud in the evenings. Almost every night I was here, there was loud music playing until early in the morning. My cabin was also right by the street so you hear the cars and motos wizzing by. The cabin isn't sealed properly so expect noise and insect roommates from time to time. The pictures seemed cute but in actuality it was pretty shabby. This place could use a deep clean and a remodel - not sure when those pictures were taken.
super cozy little house with all you need, good price and few blocks from the center, which is great because is less noise from all the party. Jan Luc was super helpfull the lights didn't work properly and he inmediately called the electrician to fix them on a sunday
Well, it is a party town so everywhere there is going to be noisy at night. And also it's Nicaragua, so lots of bugs

Good location and facilities. The property was quite cool and we were able to explore it! The host was very kind, responsive, and helpful when we were looking for activities in the area!
Our 1 bedroom cabin (which was actually a studio) was quite dusty and not well protected from the outdoors, so there were lots of bugs in the cabin. We found ants in our bed and dirt would fall from the ceiling onto our bed
Very cute cabin and a nice space. Cheap for having a whole cabin to yourself. Location is great only slightly off the centre, totally safe and fine to walk at night. Kitchen facilities are good.
Feels like camping as there are lots of insects inside the cabin, including spiders and ants on the bed all the time. Unfortunately this made the stay very uncomfortable in the end. Uncomfortable bed. Not really a table or place to sit and eat very easily for two people.
Location close to the beach and main strip of town
Cabin was a little too rustic, ants, and no hot water. Plus staff wasn’t really around and didn’t explain much about the stay

We really enjoyed our stay in the little cabin. Jan-luc was very friendly and contactable with any questions. The cabin itself was very comfortable with a basic but sufficient cooking area, comfortable bed (no mosquito net) and a clean bathroom. Really close to the beach front and the area felt safe.
Unfortunately the cabin is quite close to the road and at night time there was often groups of people hanging around and playing games which was a little loud and interrupted sleeping a bit. The property itself is safe at night as it is locked with security on site.
Nice cabin, fans keep you cool enough at night. Close to the centre but far enough that it's fairly quiet. Shower is nice, WIFI works well.
We were charged 7USD more than the booking.com price. Also the receptacle that the water jug goes into needs to be cleaned or changed. There's green slime/mold/algae growing around the spout.
very nice cabin with a good kitchen and nice bathroom. We also liked the hammock outside of the cabin.
We were there during holyweek. There were large party’s at the beach and the bass made you shake in your bed. Went on until the early morning. Of course not the fault of the accomodation but something to be aware about. It can be noisy. Also there were quiet some bugs.
Really surprised by how nice this place was. Small but perfectly appointed! A really sweet little cabin, in the quiet part of town but very close to the beach for a stroll and only 10 mins from the main street. Comfy bed, big shower, drinking water, fridge, stove etc.

The toilet didnt flush properly. With some help from extra water it was allright though.
Good place with a usable kitchen just a short walk to the beach.
More FYI than dislike. It's necessary to keep the accommodation spotless to avoid ants (not unique to this accomodation). Also, walls aren't completely sealed so there are some bugs and leaves that easily enter the apartment.

Electrical black outs around the hotel typical Nicaraguan issues but inconvenient, specially when you arrived at a new place in the dark and dont know where things are. Generator, solar lamp or a flashlight for new guest needed.
