Excellent property and very clean. Magnificent and friendly reception area. Light , airy and very spacious lobby. It has very welcoming atmosphere. The receptionist was so charming and helpful that she even allowed us to check in early. The room was wonderful, clean loaded with all essential amenities. Bed comfort was very clean and comfortable. Staffs throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. This was our second trip to this lovely place and stayed at this hotel for the second time. Would definitely send friends to stay at this hotel.

Pros:

Me and my wife stayed in the Junior suite room which is outstanding. The staff are always very excited and professionals. We also would like to thank the management for replying all our requests timely and properly. Thank you all!

The hotel
Is very comfortable clean and has an elegance to it, the entrance is big and has traditional coffee area, second floor has a spacious kitchen and restaurant with traditional cultural food and American style breakfast included. the rooms are all elegant!! we stayed in the top junior suite ! it was very comfortable with and amazing view and balcony and jacuzzi too!! the manager was a gentlemen along with kitchen staff cleaning lady and front reception. close to "LAKE TAN" either walking or take a tuk tuk for 30 Ethiopian birr also 20 birr. by public bus to the Blue Nile. there are local restaurant across the street and stores to buy all you need. we will come back!! cheers from Vancouver Canada. Bahar Dar is beautiful the Olive Hotel and Spa. see you hopefully soon again
