Welcoming and comfortable stay like a home from home.
Pros:

Lovely small hotel which felt intimate and welcoming

Cons:

A few food offerings at the bar in the evening would be helpful - Carcassonne is so touristy and food offerings are very much targeted at tourists, we just needed simple charcuterie - simple bar snacks would would have made it perfect!

CARCASSONNE se disfruta mejor desde el Hôtel du Château & Spa
Pros:

Es el mejor establecimiento para disfrutar de Carcassonne y tener una experiencia de muy alto nivel. La ubicación y el servicio está a un nivel superior. Para nosotros es la segunda vez que disfrutamos de este Hotel y repetiremos sin dudarlo en el futuro. ALTAMENTE RECOMENDABLE.

Wir würden ein anderes Hotel buchen, sofern wir Carcassonne nochmals besuchen.
Pros:

Die Lage: sehr dicht an der Altstadt. Im Mai ist der Verkehrslärm (das Hotel liegt direkt an einer Zubringerstrasse für die Touristen) absolut ok. In der Hochsaison könnte es arg laut werden. Der Garten ist schön.
Der bewachte Parkplatz ist ebenfalls gut, allerdings für heute übliche SUVs etwas eng.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war schön, allerdings nur über eine sehr schmale Treppe (Hühnerleiter) erreichbar. Wir haben die notwendige Kleidung am Auto in eine kleine Tasche umgepackt. Das Badezimmer hatte in der Dusche überwiegend schimmelige Fugen und das Wasser in der Dusche lief nur sehr schlecht ab.
Es wurde leider nichts gegen sehr laute Hotelgäste unternommen, die um Mitternacht betrunken auf der Terrasse gesungen haben.
