The apartment is in the perfect location to enjoy all the sights of the beautiful historic city of Edinburgh. It is 5-10 minutes walk to the castle and the Royal Mile, yet does not attract the rowdiness of those areas. Although the bedroom was facing the street side, I hardly heard any noise. The apartment itself has a scandi style, very clean and is exceptionally well equipped. Little features of board games and all the mod cons of a full kitchen as well as lovely complimentary toiletries made the experience even better. They have facilities to store your luggage if you get there earlier or wish to leave the city later, that is a huge bonus.
There was a small hiccup with the TV but a remedy was agreed almost instantly. The communication is excellent with the host. Be warned, there are a lot of hills and steps in Edinburgh!!
We liked the location and the views.
Only two cups, plates, cutlery etc bit frustrating with washing up everyday if staying longer than more than a couple of nights. There was also no where to dry the washing up. The plug in the kitchen sink didn’t work so water did not stay in the sink. There was a dishwasher but no dishwasher tablets provided. There were no instructions on how to use any of the facilities (dishwasher, tv, heating, bins etc). The two tvs didn’t work so unable to relax and watch a film, would have thought that this would have been readily available. Lots of marks and scuff marks on the walls that made it look untidy. Fridge stop working and couldn’t see how to turn it back on, this led to the cork in the water bottle provided to turn mouldy. There was no access to external bins or recycling. For the price that we paid we would have expected the above to not be an issue.

Really well fitted-out in a perfect location. Coffee, tea and milk ready and waiting was a great touch.
I loved everything about our stay, the apartment is super nice and since it has a washing machine and fully equiped kitchen its really convenient. It also has such a beautiful view to the inside garden. Its right next to edimburgh castle, royal mile and pretty close to the train station.
Nothing really, I didnt like the area cause it was jam packed with people when I went. But the apartment was the perfect little escape from the chaos.

Lack of crockery.. three mugs for four people and not enough plates. Meant that we could not all have coffee together.
The apartment is in a great location, it’s super cozy and comfortable. It’s stylish too. Perfect size for 4 people and 2 small doggies. It’s clean too! Juliette contacted us to ale sure we had everything we needed and were settled in well. This was very much appreciated given our 38hr journey home from a conflict zone!
There isn’t anything we didn’t like. Even the puppies like it too. In fact, we’re bookmarking it for future trips to the city.

Eu não sei se é o apartamento em si. Mas como o período que fomos estava chovendo e ventando muito, senti o apartamento frio mesmo com o aquecedor ligado.
33 Castle Terrace is in the most fabulous and central location.
I would rate this property 10/10 if it hadn't been for a key issue.
Communication before our stay was wonderful and the messages were fabulous. We loved the fact we could drop our bags off before check-in. We arrived about 11am and put our bags in the safe place. We then went out and enjoyed the rugby and got home around 1am. We went to unlock our bags from the safe place and the code wouldn't work. We entered the correct code around 100 times but it did not work.
This was extremely frustrating and meant all four of us had to sleep in our night out outfits. Had to sleep with our make-up on. Couldn't get a toothbrush. Couldn't get our retainers for our teeth etc. It just was a rubbish end to a night out as we all had to sleep and wake up feeling disgusting. We phoned / messaged / texted the owners and got no reply for hours - until about 8am ish. We managed to get our bags out.
We don't understand the logic of having a code to get your luggage but it not working during the night? I also think if you are spending a lot of money on accomodation then the owners or a property manager should really be contactable at all hours. Imagine it had been a flood or a more serious issue and we had to wait at least seven hours for a response. I am all for life and work balance but a night manager or someone should be available.
The appartment is gorgeous. So clean, spacious and well decorated. It is completed to a very high standard.
Please note we parked in the NCP just round the corner which is so handy and safe but it was over £35 for parking so be prepared for that hefty charge.
Has so much potential but didn't quite exceed our expectations.
