We stayed at Hotel La Vue d'Or for 2 nights as a family of 4 and really enjoyed it. The views are unreal. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the buffet breakfast was really good and the free bus into the center of Sorrento was really useful. Our room was clean and spacious and had a balcony and air conditioning. We would definitely stay here again.
No on site supermarket. We picked up food/snacks when we went into Sorrento center so it wasn’t a problem.
Pool and view
The views were amazing and the hotel is a traditional Italian style but very modern too. My husband commented on it having the best shower of our travels around the area! Pool was lovely, probably shaded during the hot afternoon, but lovely terrace with sunbeds. Free shuttle bus to Sorrento through the day and evening with a gap between 12-3pm ish. On local bus route too. Free parking. This makes the location fantastic as easily accessible without being busy. Lovely choice at breakfast - continental and basic English, cereal, fruit, cakes, croissants etc and juice and coffee etc. we would definitely stay here again.

Amazingview and good pool area
The views from my balcony room were spectacular. The hotel was spotless and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Pool and good air conditioning, friendly staff, nice view.
When the shuttle bus was replaced with a different one for a couple of hours, the property didn't notify us, and we spent 1.5 hours waiting for a bus.
Also, would be nice to see some hangers in the bathroom, like where we are supposed to put clothes.
La vue et l’emplacement avec le parking.
Pas assez de place (transat) pour la piscine le matin. Le petit déjeuner très médiocre. On entendais bcp de bruit des chambre voisine surtout le soir. La carte de la chambre marchait une fois sur trois. Hotel ne correspondait pas à un 4 étoiles pour moi. On ma demander expressément de payer en liquide la taxe. La toilette coulait toute la nuit le premier jour. L’évier était boucher.

La navette ,vraiment pratique , toutefois l’arrêt de service en début d’après-midi nous force à revoir notre temps . Le déjeuner très complet , la terrasse plus tranquille , la magnifique vue.
C’est un emplacement familial , les enfants sont bruyants autour de la piscine. Nous ne pouvions pas déjeuner sur la terrasse près de la piscine ,ni celle devant l’hôtel, ce qui nous aurait permis de déjeuner à l’ombre .
Situation géographique, vue, mise à disposition de navettes.
L'absence de jus d'orange frais au petit déjeuner (alors que la côte Amalfitaine n'en manque pas :-(), l'absence d'oeufs frits et coques.
