THE PIG at Bridge Place - Kent

awesome stay!

We were welcomed and walked to the room by a lovely lady called Lois. She wished me happy birthday and was aware of all dietary requirements and dinner plans. She also informed us we had been upgraded (a massive upgrade btw!) we are so happy with the room/ house haha ! Food was amazing last night and we had such fun exploring the grounds and getting cozy in the room. All of the staff seem so happy to talk to you and are very kind.

What a beautiful place to stay. An amazing amount of thought has gone into all elements of the Manor House and surrounding accommodation. We stayed in a hop pickers hut (number 4 was great as end of the row and cleaning cupboard next to us so no noise from neighbours) which had a large and comfortable bed and was thoughtfully appointed. We enjoyed exploring the kitchen garden and our evening meal was delicious (waiters were very knowledgeable about the food and wine list) Breakfast also superb (we went for the buffet table option - everything was locally sourced and excellent quality.

Relaxed and laid back but no compromise on quality and service

Had a wonderful stay at The Pig in Bridge.
Enjoyed a large bedroom suite with great views over the garden, the food was exceptional. The fresh whole John Dory for 2 was exceptional.
The produce garden is certainly worth an early morning stroll before a full Pig breakfast.
The staff made us feel very welcome and it will be on our list to return.

River stream hut exceeded expectation … by some margin. The devil is in the detail and thus organisation focus’s on detail.

Passei um final de semana para descansar e conhecer Canterbury. O tempo influência nas atividades externas, mas dentro da acomodação tudo funcionou bem. Pela distância da cidade, é um lugar que te obriga a fazer todas as refeições nele, não sendo muito em conta, apesar da alimentação ser saudável e gourmet. A equipe é enorme e formado em sua maioria por jovens atenciosos. No fim de semana em que estive lá, o hotel parecia estar lotado, dificultando dividir as poltronas e sofás dos ambientes em comum. Contrasta com a calma do lugar, dando um certo estresse por vc não ter onde sentar e relaxar. O quarto da casa, mesmo com as janelas abertas, era escuro, precisando acender todas as luzes para enxergar melhor.
