Great location and friendly staff
Pros:

Great location, friendly staff, clean, nice rooms. Lovely touch, on leaving we were given flapjacks! We hope to return soon so that we can spend longer in Ramsgate and try the bar and restaurant at the hotel.

Cons:

Nothing comes to mind.

It was a lovely short break in a clean, well-run hotel.
Pros:

Lovely walk from the front of the hotel. It was good to be able to leave our vehicle in the car park. The service in the bar was very good. It was great to have biscuits and water left with the tea and coffee facilities. A bus stops right outside that takes you to Broadstairs.

Cons:

It got very crowded in the bar for the Tina Turner tribute night!

The hotel was nice and cosy
Pros:

Staff were friendly, polite.

Cons:

One of our party of friends who were staying at another hotel down the road was able to come to the hotel at 6am and gain access to my room? he told the receptionist that he was a family member and that he left something in my room they gave him a key! without confirming anything it left me feeling very vulnerable and it was a serious breach of safeguarding. I have emailed the general manager.

Lovely and relaxing
Pros:

comfortable beds...very clean fresh bedding. Quiet room ...very nice bathroom

thought window would look on to sea, pillows quiet firm. Steps up/down to room not ideal for 88 year old mum

Solid hotel, very few complaints!
Pros:

Room was spacious, comfy bed and soft sheets. Bathroom was well decorated and modern. Water pressure good. Quiet: walls not thin. Eco friendly toiletries in bathroom. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Easy check in and check out. Good location, although we travelled into Margate. Lovely side view of the sea. Available parking. Room was plenty clean. Great value for money.

Cons:

Small shower cubicle, it's a bit of a maze finding your room!

Good location for town
Pros:

Everything was clean. The air con was fab for the hot weather. There was free parking outside the hotel and it was walking distance to the town. Slept well.

Very enjoyable
Pros:

Our room was exceptionally large with two big windows with a sea view. Bed was very comfortable. The evening meal was excellent.

Cons:

Couldn’t reach the beach without a long walk so ended up driving to Westgate. But that was not the fault of the hotel. We are in our eighties so for us the walk back from beach was too much.

poor and limited breakfast offering and facilities that clearly require refurbishment

Cons:

Very bad breakfast, even thought they are close to the sea there were no fish? Only uslesss English breakfast, full of fat and surgar. Looks like British people cannot prpeare anything esle for breakfast, just fat and sugar. And the holtel needs a proper refurbishment.
