Location was nice and also convenient for our travel, people were kind and friendly, dinner was tasty.
Room spacious and comfortable.
Delicious food, comfortable room, friendly host
Nothing
The host running the homestay is nice to us.
The room is small. In the bathroom there’re several dead insects when we checked in. The host clearly wants to do it well but seems unorganized to run it yet. When we go to sleep, there’s a garland light that sparkles in from of the building. The curtain from the room is not thick enough so the sparkling prevents us to fall in sleep. We couldn’t find a way to turn it off and couldn’t find the host.
Very clean, good AC, good location!
It looks like a brand new very large guest house with a large dining area. When I arrived no one was there but some dogs. I walked all around for 15 or 20 minutes calling out in English and Vietnamese. Finally a neighbor came over. He called someone and told me to take room number one so I did. I had to drive a few miles away to find some place to get food. When I returned there were people there. There was a woman working in the kitchen who came out and made eye contact with me and a younger man and a high school age girl. I tried to speak to them and they all ignored me as if I was not even there. The school girl looked at Google translate for me but did not respond. I went up to my room. A few hours later at dinner time I came downstairs and the same people were there and they still would not acknowledge me and I drove back to the other guest house who agreed to feed me even though they were not really open to the public. I came back to the place and all the lights were on and the TV was on but no one was around and I went upstairs to my room and went to bed. In the morning I got up and pack my motorbike up outside which took 20 minutes and I saw a young woman but again she ignored me and I left without speaking to anyone. The room was small but clean and there was hot water and a good bed but I have not been treated like that anywhere else in Vietnam and I have traveled here many times
The service here was very homelike. You feel very at home here. The weather was amazing and everything is so calm and peaceful. The owner also invited us to sit and drink tea/alcohol with them and offered us amazing snacks.
The room was a little bit cold due to the weather. A small portable heater would have made our stay a little bit more toasty but it wasn’t too big of a deal for us!
Greet location near Pac Bo cave. The staff kindly prepared dinner for me. Helpful staff.
Literally just stayed here one night as a stop off on my route around Cao Bang. Had the whole place to myself. Dorm room was big size, very comfortable mattress and mosquito net. Only 5 min bike ride from town. Restaurant next door. Friendly staff but zero English.
They were constructing something downstairs with angle grinder when I arrived in the evening. Very noisy and they started working at 7am. Luckily i was planning to get up early anyway.
Staff had zero English. To use shower, had to go into a double room and use en-suite. Fine for dorm users but that would be a no no for those who booked private room.
Receptionist lady was very nice and helpful. Convenient location to visit Bac Ho Chi Minh's 1941 home. Easy checkin and checkout.
Some mosquitos in the whole entire area, but there were candle plug-ins which worked well.
Brand new facility. Very nice comfy bed, friendly staff, and close to Pac Bo. The food from the restaurant next door was tasty.
None!
The rooms are really cozy and clean. The accomodation is newly build (Nov 2023) and everything is still getting organised, but next to it, there is a second homestay that can also provide you with everything that's needed.
Everthing is new and clean. All are made of wood, a kind of traditional house in Cao Bang.
The owner he was really nice to us.
We said that we might check-in late due to the rain and he offered that he could pick up us. The next day was rainy too and he also offered to drive us to the Pac Pos cave for conveinience.
Very very comfortable beds, I slept super well! Also the family running this place was very welcoming and friendly and cooked a very good meal for us! I was very happy to have chosen this accommodation! Also it’s only a few minutes from the Pac Bo Cave, so if you want to visit this is the place to stay! Thank you so much! I hope to come back here someday again!
