Cons:

Hello,

I had a very serious issue during my stay at this hotel.

When I returned to my room, my luggage was missing. After contacting reception, I was informed that my belongings had been removed and were in a storage room, mixed with other items, inside trash bags, with shoes mixed with food.

This situation is completely unacceptable and constitutes a serious failure in terms of security, hygiene, and the handling of guests’ personal belongings.

I am requesting:
- A full refund for my stay
- Additional compensation for the distress caused and for the negligent handling of my belongings

I have photos that clearly document the situation.

If this matter is not resolved urgently, I will proceed with a formal complaint to the relevant authorities.

Please treat this matter with the utmost urgency.

If it was not for the location and price would not be worth the stay

Close to Jamaica Station where you have direct access to AirTrain to and from JFK Airport and subway line that connects Queens to Manhattan.

Pros:

1. The front desk gentleman was nice. He was able to tell me of an alternative with faster internet in walking distance.
2. Free coffee near front desk.

Cons:

1. high speed internet was advertised and confirmed with phone call to front desk but download speed was around 9 and upload speed 8. I am a digital nomad and had to check out a day early since I could not do my work.
2. elevator was not working. I tore my biceps muscle in my dominant right arm 6 weeks earlier. I had to carry my suitcase with my left arm to the 3rd floor and then down again in the morning.
3. very noisy outside hotel.
4. staircase smelled of weed. I know since elevator was not working.
5. I asked for refund 10 minutes after checking in since internet was not acceptable. I was told I had to pay for the first night but the second would be refunded.
6. Still waiting for the refund of my 2nd night 7 days after checking out.

Pros:

The elevator was broke which didn’t make easy to go to 5 floor but the front desk lady was so lovey and kind that she made up for all imperfections
