Lovely staff, clean big room close to the golden temple.
The hotel is now called " A star" this needs updating on bookings.
Air conditioning is centrally controlled and you need to ring down to ask for your room to have it turned on , sometimes staff forget.
We asked two different staff members at different times of the day to book our taxi. This was not done, it normally wouldn't matter but when you have 2 flights to get time is important. They charge 500 rupees to make the call
Booking.com fooled me the hotel rooms were available for Rs1200, but booking.com charged ne double & it was not value for money

Just the location but there are many other much better ones. Don't choose this.
Cleanliness wasn't there at all. Room was stinking. Even after changing the bedsheets there were hairs. We Even changed the room but everything is Very shady here. Please avoid.

Lil things like water had to be ordered many times and jug was uncovered. There were noises distrubing the peace
