I liked the breakfast. Room was clean.
The front desk girls were never at the desk. When they did appear they were unfriendly and almost acted as if we were annoying to them. Other staff, a maintenance person and someone else were more friendly and even more helpful as they stepped in for the front desk.
I had used the app to check in in the am ,when I got there around 4pm staff informed me there was no room for me. With the Ironman race going on that weekend everything was booked. They suggested a place 20minutes out that was over $600 for the night.
Location
Room to small, not enough supplies, skimpy breakfast
Location
Breakfast not prepared already hot like other hotels
Didn’t have the room available that was reserved
Good location and close to restaurants and shopping.
Our reserved room was not the right room but the next morning the manager solved the problem.
Staff helpful, beds comfortable, rooms were clean
Continental breakfast was not good. Refrigerated eggs and breakfast sandwiches, no sausage, bacon or potatoes. I would expect better from a over $200 room. It's my only complaint and we will stay again
Central to the town and restaurants.
Little run down compared to the year before when we stayed. The ice machine on the floor was broken.
Ease of check in.
Ice machine was next to my room and it was used very early in morning and it was loud. Other than that all was good.
Fine motel except no beds made or changed in 5 days!!!!
Location.
Hotel staff was not accommodating to honor my request of a double queen room that I paid for prior to trip. Once I arrived on my trip, I was not made aware of the room change and then I called the front desk Elizabeth was not able to accommodate a double queen room for that night. I then spoke to the manager the next morning and Ron assured me that I would receive a refund for my troubles, but I have yet to see any refund.
Had a queen suite room. Extremely large room, nice sofa, desk, etc. Bathroom had plenty of towels (they were thin hotel towels) and one small sink; but plenty of storage for personal bath items/makeup on shelves above toilet. Plenty of hot water. Bed was comfy and heat/ac was great.
Windows were thin to point that people on sidewalk could be easily heard in the room and we were on second floor! Hotel overbooked so had to park in overflow parking in tavern parking lot (great food next door and reasonable); but would have preferred parking in main lot even though there are designated parking spots. Barking dogs (multiple rooms every night) after 10:30 pm and at 5 am were an issue for us. We have dogs; but are responsible dog owners. Unfortunately the only solution would be to put all dogs on one level. Also don’t bother with pre-check in on a busy weekend. Our room wasn’t available at the arrival time. You would think someone who booked a year in advance would have their room ready at the hotel’s arrival time.
Hotel convenient for our purposes, close to the lakes in Finger Lake region and wineries. Smallish room only had one bed, we had to ask for another blanket, was provided. Coffee machine was part of the room. Breakfast was good and filling. Room and bedding was clean and modern.
There were no hooks to hang things on in the room….towels, bathrobes. Needs hooks in the entry to hang coats.
It was close to our daughter's college
There was Zero customer service. When my partner and I checked in they were swarmed with five different events happening and they didn't realize that there were additions to my booking so half of the requests that I added on were declined, but they were quick to charge me $50 for my small dog. The bed sheets were very itchy, the air in the room was very stale. Upon checking out although they had a ready taken $50 from my one card for the pet fee and charged my other card on file for our stay, they couldn't give me a receipt because the charges never went through. I have a screenshot of the 8 different attempts they made charging my card AFTER the initial charge was made. Plus they double charged me for the pet fee. All they could afford me with was our "regional manager won't be in until Monday they will give you a call to figure things out.". The front desk person who was checking me out explained that they don't know what the person checking me in did, but they didn't do it correctly, however the person checking me in was the same person that checked me out. I highly doubt I will stay at this hotel again. Do better!
