Lovely, but dine elsewhere
Pros:

Quiet location, gorgeous gardens, lovely spa and very comfortable rooms

Cons:

As expected but not blown away.
Pros:

This is a 5 star hotel so expectations are high. Service was very good but only as expected. The gardens were very good and the food also very good

Cons:

The property is older and it shows. Some paint peeling and some extra maintenance is needed.

Lovely hotel but there are a few areas where a little bit more value would make a big difference.
Pros:

The spa was wonderful and the staff were so friendly and keen to meet every need. The locations is really good and breakfast was brilliant such a great choice.

Cons:

There are no sensibly priced wine options. Really you should offer a good quality mid range bottle in red white and rose. Also I ordered the Cheese Platter for dessert and i have never seen such skimpy portions of cheese. When you are paying circa £15 for a plate i certainly would have expected more than slices so thin you could see through them.

Schön eingerichtet!

Cons:

Nicht kinderfreundlich, wollten meinen 7 Monate alten Sohn nicht zum Pool lassen obwohl es 38 Grad war und während der Kinderschwimmzeit (die von 12-1 in der prallen Mittagshitze war) alles voll mit Erwachsenen war so dass wir keinen Schattenplatz hatten! Haben uns wirklich extrem schlecht behandelt gefühlt und selbst als ich Feedback gegeben habe, wurde sich nicht mal entschuldigt.

Ist wirklich eines 5 Sterne Hotel nicht würdig - mit Kindern würde ich niemals hingehen!

Vi havde set meget frem til vores ophold på The Bath Priory, men desværre kom den dårlige betjening til at fylde alt for
Pros:

Især haven og terrassen var fantastisk, og beliggenheden i gåafstand til centrum var rigtig fin.

Cons:

Betjeningen var under middel især i forhold til, at det er et femstjernet Relais & Chateaux hotel. Personalet virkede ikke særlig professionelt og virkede ikke til at koordinere med hinanden. Vi havde forudbestilt Afternoon Tea hjemmefra, men det havde de ikke registreret, så vi kom til at vente i næsten en time. Serveringspersonalet var ikke særligt opmærksomme på gæsterne; vi skulle selv opsøge dem, hvis vi ønskede servering, og serveringen var meget langsom. Vi måtte bl.a. bede om mayonnaise fire gange, før vi fik den. Rødvinen blev først serveret, efter maden var serveret, og efter at have bestilt dessert ventede vi en halv time og fik så at vide, at de ikke havde mere.

It was a significant birthday and they provided an upgrade plus really helped with food as I had just had unplanned for
Pros:

The gardens are amazing and the hotel has a lovely ‘feeling’

Cons:

We were there for two of the hottest days ever and room air con did not work very well. No doubt for most of the year this would never be an issue.

Enjoyable stay
Pros:

i have stayed here before and know the hotel well (and have stayed at a number of hotels in bath as we visit often). we picked this hotel because they have proper family rooms e.g kids have own room, rather than one large bedroom or someone sleeping in the living room. secondary reasons; children are allowed to use the pool (specific family swim times), there is room service and very good food & drinks

Cons:

family swim time could be extended during school holidays. the service could be better, when we tried to check in we were told only one team member could do this and they were showing another guest around. or when we tried to order drinks they said they couldn't take my order and someone who can will come along shortly - but they did not go get that staff member nor mention it to anyone else. I have shared all of this feedback to the hotel directly after our stay, i hope they will listen as all else hotel is lovely and its somewhere we would consider booking again if we wanted to treat the kids.

Lage und Garten hervorragend, Service und Leistungen nicht gemäss Relais&Chateau
Pros:

- Grösse und Layout der Zimmer
- Aussicht auf den sehr schönen Garten

Cons:

- lange Wartezeiten im Service
- Tische auf der Terrasse nicht sauber
- WiFi sehr langsam oder nicht existent
- keine Parkplätze für Hotelgäste wegen "open house Charity"
- bei Buchung des Hotels war nicht ersichtlich, dass das Restaurant komplett geschlossen ist !!!

Absolutely thoroughly loved our stay and will recommend out friends have to come and stay too!
Pros:

The breakfast was ok. We’d prefer a buffet. Please note our coffee was prepared exactly how we asked for by your wonderful Thai waitress. Unfortunately we do not know her name but I’m sure she will be known to you as being a shining light among your staff.
We also appreciated Kitty your very friendly and welcoming front of house staff member for being just that one step ahead and oh so welcoming. We really did enjoy our stay.

Cons:

The bar staff could be more attentive to guests sitting outside. At one stage I had to walk around inside for quite sometime to try and find someone to give us another round of drinks as no one came out to ask if we wanted more.

Pros:

Personal freundlich, Frühstück einwandfrei, Garten sehr schön. Spa nicht besucht. Die Nähe zum Zentrum und Park ist hervorragend. Auch die Parkiermöglichkeit mit dem Auto.

Cons:

Das Zimmer entspricht nicht einem 5-Sterne Standart. Eher einem 3-Sterne. Die Möbel waren am Ende der Lebenszeit, alles war sehr alt, zum Teil renovationsbedürftig. Es roch etwas unangenehm.
