Ngoc Anh Hotel 2 Ninh Binh

Breakfast was supposed to be included as per the advertising on Expedia, but was not available. The dining area has been converted to living area for owner.
The owner drove us to the train station twice. Once to get a ticket on the day of our arrival and again to get to our train.
The owner also arranged laundry washing for us

What made this hotel so unique was the wonderful manager by far the most helpful we have experienced this whole trip.

Please do yourself a favor and stay here. It is very professionally run and will help you enjoy your stay in Ninh Binh. Need a bicycle? Need a motorcycle? Want to book a tour? The manager will help you at breakfast each day. The omelettes are fantastic!

Ngoc Anh Hotel 2 wa a beaut surprise in the ordinary provincial town of Ninh Binh. The rooms were quite spacious, clean and well appointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the Senior Manager exceptionally so, his English being near perfect and his organisation of the nearby tours of Tam Coc and Trang An being spot on. The Hotel was located near main intersection for easy walking access to local restaurants. Right up there with the best boutique Hotels in Vietnam. John of Brisbane

We really enjoyed our stay at this very central hotel. Staff were great, very friendly, organised good trips for us at reasonable cost. Breakfast was excellent. Everything is spotless. Bed was really comfortable. Recommended.

Rooms are large, clean and well maintained. I saw a one of their housekeeping staff using a tooth brush to fastidiously clean the tile grouting outside my room.

Their manager is eager to assist guests with whatever needs they have, sometime protectively hovering nearby when guests book a taxi. He also helped me buy my train tickets onto Hue.

Breakfasts always come with a substantial fruit plate, choice of eggs or pho, freshly squeezed orange juice and, of course, great Vietnamese coffee.

As is true for most hotels, wi-fi was adequate. If you really need bandwidth, you're better off getting a SIM card and setting up your smartphone as a hot spot.

If you're staying in Ninh Binh, you can't go wrong at this hotel.

This is an excellent hotel to stay at in Ninh Binh. Far better than other more expensive places to stay. The staff is awesome and they go above and beyond to assist you in navigating the town. they also have very reasonably priced motorbikes for rent. Highly recommended!

Very happy experience at the Ngoc Anh Hotel 2. Extremely helpful staff who will organise and advise on all Vietnam matters. Great breakfast. Large clean comfortable cool rooms. I spent a half day on the back of a moped touring the surrounding countryside with Ben. They would have come to the railway station and helped me buy my train tickets if I had needed their assistance. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough .

Nice 3-star hotel with excellent service! Good central location, wit lots of street food around

Nice quietish hotel on a main road in Ninh Binh. Reception was very good and helpful; they let us have a shower after we'd checked out before our onward overnight train journey. Plenty of free cold water on offer, which was nice. They arranged a car and driver for the further-out sights (Tam Coc, Trang An, and so on), which worked well, although possibly a bit pricey. A nice place to stay but staying in Tram Coc might have been more convenient - we arrived on a late train, so had little choice. Breakfasts were fine.

This hotel is in the central of the area, so if you are looking to go to many places around Ninh binh, then this is a good choice. Some people recommend staying out of the city to get a better experience, but I would say that a central location allows you to go to many places.

The staff is incredibly friendly; they helped us with many things, even let us shower way after we checked in. However, I do not recommend booking any tours or extras through the hotel. The motorbikes are a bit overpriced for the area, and the bus they booked for us back to Hanoi was very very bad (for the price). For example, we took the limo bus for 140K from Hanoi to HCMC (max of 6 seats). When we booked it back via the hotel, we were expecting a similar quality for the same price (140K). However, we were crammed on a 40 seat bus of only foreigners (if there are only foreigners, you know its overpriced).

The bus experience isn't the staff's fault at all, but just want to warn you all to book your trips seperately from the hotel.

Hotel staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. Beds are large, clean, and comfortable. Air conditioning and wifi are strong. Bathroom is modern with great hot&cold water (sometimes you need a cold shower in this heat!). Breakfast is very filling with choice of omelette or eggs, toast, banana pancake, fruit, juice, and incredible coffee. The host helped us find great food nearby and helped us book train tickets. He even picked them up for us and brought us to the train station. They have bicycles and motorbikes to rent for taking tours nearby. We sadly didn't use them, and stayed inside the whole time, because of a stomach bug. Loved this hotel and the staff and would highly recommend them to anyone passing through Ninh Binh.

The room was lovely, spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and organised tours for us including a complimentary transfer to the train station. Great breakfast with a good choice.

Ngoc Anh Hotel in Ninh Binh is great value for your money. It's no frills, but the host was excellent and the room super clean and the shower super hot. It's in a great location to discover the area and close to excellent eats (which the host will guide you to). You could rent bicycles and motor bikes from the hotel for a steal, and that was the best way to see the area. The host was the best thing about this hotel. He was super helpful and responded to our needs every time.

The customer service at this hotel is exceptional. Phuong, the manager speaks excellent English and is so helpful. He had great suggestions and assisted us with taxis and car transfers. The room is lovely but the twin beds are quite hard. The breakfast has a huge variety and you can order off the menu.

We loved our stay at this hotel. For the price we paid, we though there was an excellent value. Breakfast was very good and plentiful, the room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We rented a motorbike to go to visit the area. The service was excellent and they looked well after us providing few recommendations for local restaurant to try out. They also organised a pick up transport for us to Hanoi with a company called "XE Vietnam" (which was fantastic - like a support comfortable min van limousine service!) for a very good price.
