The room itself is really good and comfortable, but it's a family home and I didn't know that and I didn't feel comfortable staying like that. I felt like a guest in another family's home. Some people might like it.. The family is cute, there are a few small children

The place was really good, clean, comfortable and close to the beach. The breakfast was really good!

Lovely family, nice room, but a bit small for our liking. The bed was a bit hard, and what was advertised as a large double bed was a regular double. Shame there is no direct exit from the room to outside.

The hosts are a very kind extended family, and you can see three generations living together under one roof, giving you a sense of their lifestyle. The building is very new, and the room was extremely clean, beautiful, and had plenty of light. The room is part of the family’s home, so you have to pass through their living room to get to it, which makes you feel more at home. I could see the family’s children studying, playing, and going about their day.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area, surrounded by tropical plants, tourist villas, and typical local houses in the nearby alleys. On the first day, the host made me a delicious local vegan breakfast, which I liked so much that I asked for it again the next day. It was the best food I had during my trip to Sri Lanka, and I’ll never forget it. I loved this villa so much.

We loved the One 8 Mirissa. It was very close to the beach and the breakfast was lovely!

We loved everything about this property! The room was very clean, well-equipped and comfortable to stay in. Hosts were super welcoming and responding very fast to our questions. Moreover, breakfast that was prepared for us was our highlight. It was delicious!!:)

I had a great stay in this property with the lovely family. Tasty and different breakfast for everyday prepared by the host. Perfect location (5 min walk to the main beach and 10 min to the Secret beach). A lot of restaurants nearby.

Hosts so nice. Made us feel as if we were part of the family. Breakfast was fantastic. Mirissa beach just 5mn walk. Access to secret beach as well by foot. Very clean. Had washing done, clothes came back folded, clean. Great location and quiet

Very modern newly renovated room, the best room we had in our stay in Sri Lanka so far. The host family made us feel very welcome, and helped us to get a laundry service and a scooter. Location is close to the beaches, lots of restaurants and small shops are close by as well. Overall highly recommended, great value for money!

The hosts are a lovely family. They offered us an amazing breakfast.
They have a rain shower. The room has an AC and I had plenty of space. It was close to several beaches.
The city center was a 7 min work. The helped me to organize a transfer to the airport.
I highly recommend this place and I will come again! Thanks for your kindness
