Travel Information: Driving towards Chesterton along Green Lane, the hotel driveway is the next left after the buildings marked WIG.

Gray's Restaurant is open from Wednesday to Saturday 6.30pm - 9pm (last sitting 8.30pm). It is essential that all guests pre-book their table at the restaurant prior to arrival as spaces are limited.
The restaurant is closed on New Year's Eve for an event. Tickets are available in advance. Please contact the property for more information.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Needed some updating
Nice location
Lacked welcoming lounge and restaurant areas. Definitely function over aesthetic. Had dinner in Sports bar area which is very much like golf club members bar, however, it was full of little flies. We moved table three times to try to get away from them, so this really spoilt what should have been a relaxing meal, this definitely needs addressing. Not sure if it was caused by the hot weather but still not acceptable.

Room was disabled, no plug for sink and sink for wheelchairs (too low), shower flooded bathroom, furnishings in bedroom dirty, staff had no spare plugs for sink.
Good facilities & excellent food. Very friendly staff.
Starting to look a bit worn in places, including damage and accumulation of mould/dirt in bathroom & pool changing areas.
The staff were incredibly warm and friendly. I especially want to mention Tracey in Housekeeping for sorting out our beds from double to twin. She was so helpful. Lovely Layla who served us breakfast was like a ray of sunshine and greeted everyone with a warm smile and was so helpful.
I cannot think of anything that we didn't like. It was a really lovely experience.

The carpets were heavily marked with stains in the corridors to the bedrooms. The rooms looked a little tired, but were very comfortable.

The breakfast, gas was out of order in the kitchen and coffee wasn't ready i had to wait for coffee to be replaced, if there is one thing that should be kept topped up its the coffee pot for breakfast.
The setting and scenery
Unfortunately the food let it down. Portion size was small, partner had katsu curry bit tasteless, I had fish and chips bit oily.
Breakfast the next day, issues with gas so limited menu which we wasn’t shown, could do more for the breakfast bar, bins for the cereal boxes, being more attentive for the coffee jugs, tidying up
Comfortable for an overnight stop off. Breakfast was good.
Unfortunately, when checking out we found that our room had been charged for an extra 2 meals and 2 drinks which we had not had. The lesson is to always check your receipt before leaving. The staff were very apologetic and assured me that I would be refunded for this. I asked them confirm this in an email to me before I left as they couldn’t issue it at that point as it has to go through the finance department. I did receive the email. I now await the refund.

Everything, the Gym was great and well fitted out only thing would of been better the Aircon was On in the next room But not in gym ??
The meals were very good and staff very helpful. Lovely Hotel great location too. Loved stay.
